www.facebook.com/reel/1394402317690988?fs=e&s=clJust seen this. I know he’s got his faults but he genuinely comes across as being a decent lad who seems to embrace his ability to cheer people going through tough times in a very natural and unforced way. I like him and think if he can keep himself out of trouble he could be a great role model for other footballers.

I think he's a big kid at heart and I've always liked him on the pitch and off it, his misdemeanours aside! Do worry that he could potentially turn into a Gazza with regards to partying hard & drinking to excess. But hopefully he'll have the network around him that keeps him in check without losing his outgoing character. It's a known fact whilst at Villa they managed to protect him from the majority of the glaring world's media whereas now he's been cut lose & pretty easy prey but guess who wouldn't make hay while the sun's shining, I know I would..

Hopefully as he gets older he’ll make more sensible decisions without losing his sense of fun. I never really took to Gazza as a person he always struck me as taking his jokes way too far though having read his book and reading about his mate dying you could see why he was so tortured. If Rice went to Man City he’d be the perfect player for Grealish to be around as he seems a lovely bloke and seems to enjoy a laugh without getting into trouble. Definite future captain material.

All England players are self centred thick cunts detached from reality
Don’t you know that?

I have to say the current crop seem a decent bunch on the whole as is the case with most cross sections of society there’s good and bad. It’ll be interesting to know if there’s still that North / South divide that was there allegedly in the days of Lampard and Gerrard,

The fact that some footballers are not the brightest or perhaps have not had a great education doesn’t make them bad people - the amount of money that flows to charities from their massive salaries is probably very very high. What they need are families and friends around them who keep them in touch with the real world and don’t just seek to inflate their egos or live off their fame as you got the impression occurred with Gazza and a few others.

I think Grealish and Rice need sent to Stoke immediately for free. In return, we won't charge for the rehabilitation.
The media wouldn't dare mention either of them if they played here! Even local media, it would infringe too much upon Crewe and Vale coverage.

He seems a similar kind of character to Saido Berahino to me - there is a decent person there, but it's easy to be led astray. The drink driving is far from a good look though - the video footage of Grealish is shocking.

He's getting grief in the press at the min for being in Vegas and partying.
Which is just fucking odd.
He seems a good egg who enjoys himself.

The worlds gone barmy it really has

He's a young lad on holiday, just because he's a footballer doesn't mean he can't enjoy his life. He's a very good fucking footballer at that aswell, the media in this country are a disgrace.

He was in a box a couple down from me when I was watching Liam Gallagher at the Ethiad the other week and was clearly having a great time.
Despite being away from the seething masses and sat with other luminaries (Pep, Phil Foden, Johnny Marr, Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, and Andy Burnham were also there) he was having a decent craic with punters in his vicinity and posed for photos with anyone who asked (which was quite a lot).
Seems like a good egg to me.
I would have gone and talked to him but I couldn't be arsed.

I’ve actually met Rylan, he’s a charming chap and a chain smoker. And if you weren’t aware he’s very tall, probably 6”4 at a guess. He looks so small on those Cinch adverts. Anyway I said no in the end, even badgers have a certain amount of decorum
