Could we swap him for Dominic Iorfa? He's rumoured to be going to Blackpool. Good player. Was talking to some Sheff Wed fans about him before their recent game at Accrington as I was surprised he was still there. Apparently he has a lucrative contract as Wednesday but the guys I spoke to felt that he played within himself a bit to much. He was superb against us v Wolves in the cup game a while back and every time I’ve seen him he’s been great. After Bannan, he was best player on pitch v Accrington and to be fair, he did absolutely stroll through the game and looked very much like he was playing within himself. I’m surprised he’s playing at that level.

The recruitment at this club really is farcical. The recruitment team who brought him are no longer at the club. Has Cousins left completely? As recently as 2-3 weeks ago, it was reported he was still overseeing the recruitment department under Martin. www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/ricky-martin-reveals-role-stoke-7915126That will see Martin work with Stoke's head of football operations, Andy Cousins, who oversees the recruitment department, as well as chief scout Tommy Coakley, both of whom are holdovers from Michael O'Neill's time in charge of the club.

FFS I've backed Wednesday to go up. Don't want that big dope going there and ruining my bet.

More proof that the manager has no idea what he's doing. You're always so spot on Gary.

Sat behind him and Clucas at the Burnley game. Flint spent the majority of the game refreshing his Amazon page, clearly more interested in that than the actual game. Clucas spent the game shaking his head and tutting - particularly at Tymon.
Neither of those two belong at a successful club, not proper professionals or team players, and not good enough to get away with it, the sooner they’re fucked off the better

Maybe, but if you are professional sports person sitting in the crowd next to fans then really, you ought not to do that audibly. I wasn’t impressed with either of them. Jagielka was once seat further down and he acted like a pro - given the career he’s had maybe not surprising

I don’t think I would though especially if it was someone playing in a position I can play.

Linked with Derby now We should've let them have him in the summer ffs Yeah but now we'll be able to pay most of his wages for the rest of the season for them. Think of the charity angle, they're destitute and were nearly homeless.

Linked with Derby now Fuck me, you gotta feel sorry for Derby fans - first administration and then having Chester AND Flint on their books AT THE SAME TIME? I look forward to seeing them play together at the heart of a back 3/4/5

What was the logic behind signing him?

Think he was signed primarily as cover until Harry S returned. Bit odd though on many levels.

What was the logic behind signing him? Playing Him Souttar and Taylor in a back three. Going for the tallest, slowest back line in championship history record.

What was the logic behind signing him? Sure I read he once scored 14 goals in a season so maybe we thought we could kill two birds with one stone. God knows how though because for such a big bloke he's a right wimp.

Reading the Derby forum it appears that Flint lives about 2/3 miles from Derby’s training ground so I’d imagine he’d be quite happy with a move to Derby

What was the logic behind signing him? The only reason I can think of is that someone (Holden?) must have thought he'd play the central role in the back 3 until Souttar was fit. However, what he hadn't bargained for was that Flint was rubbish. That's where the plan came unstuck.

Until he's been tried in the Mama role, he's not allowed to leave.
It could be the making of him, so hands off Derby!

Was supposed to be dynamite on corners, but in reality was shite at everything. We must have missed his competent years by 18 months or so.
Made Danny Batth look like Franz Beckanbauer.
