I ain’t got a ps5 yet so it’s a wait for me. But the last one was such a disappointment I’m hoping they have learned from it. Gran turismo was the god of racing games but since forza horizon 3 I would give forza the edge. I want them to take the fight back, I hate this console snobbery from people I just want good games on whatever I choose to play on.

It's GT4 evolved IMO. All of the classic features are back.
Yet to try online yet (reminder, you need to do the first 9 Cafe Menus to unlock online, if you wonder why you cannot see it).
But yeah, this is classic GT right here.

Then I got obsessive on it, my fastest time is now 16.777, I felt like I achieved Godlike status after that.
Never again.

Never again. im just happy to pass some of the licence tests you really need to start learning the tuning mechanics and mods to make the cars pop im messing with a nissan skyline currently, have put the below mods on: front splitter and rear wing (so i can adjust the downforce) weight reducton 1,2,3 and 4 sports tyres carbon ceramic brake kit racing brake pads steering angle adapter anti lag system racing silencer racing air filter fully customisable suspension racing clutch and flywheel torque vectoring centre differential fully customisable racing transmission tune as thus: body height 85mm front, 100mm rear toe angle 0.05 front and 0.20 rear (toe in) torque vectoring 50:50 downforce 80 front and 210 rear transmission top speed up to you really but i went 290 kph i think ant lag system on it makes a pretty lethal car that if you want to use on the online daily races you will need the power restrictor too limit the power to bring below 295 but it will get you a top three place 9 out of 10 times! i cocked up my toe angle to start with and went toe out at the front by 0.05, when i switched it back to toe in i saved 5 seconds a lap on the high speed ring! |

Been waiting years for this game to come out. As much as i like it, (the graphics are insane), there are so many bugs which need fixing. I mainly buy GT for online racing which, atm is a mess. Not able to change tracks or settings once in a room.
Hopefully it gets sorted soon!.

I'm loving the daily races (cos I'm pretty shit but am able to podium occasionally!), but not tried the lobby/room stuff yet. On a wider scale, I'm absolutely loving the game. Just what I wished for. Taking me right back the good old days. 45 minutes of trying to get gold on a licence test? Oh yes! |

My obsession with the A-9 license continues Hit a 16.671 on it the other day. I think for being on Dualsense and not a wheel, I'm well happy with that. Hoping when I eventually get a wheel I can knock it down to 16.5XX the wheel changes completely how you play the game, its so much more precise the danger is oversteering massively my obsession at the moment is one of the cafe menu challenges for the american cars, trying to make a focus rs quick enough to win the special track x challenge, i won the car but so far have tuned the shit out of it with every upgrade possible but i cant get more than 7 seconds behind the winner! have spent about 250,000 on upgrades and still cant do it, have messed with downforce, height and everything! im thinking last chance is too put the mid rpm turbo on as it is bogging down in 6th gear at low revs |

Outside of raising the BHP, reducing the weight and maybe chucking some decent brakes on I'm a bit lost with it all! there is a bit on the menu almost like a webpage in the game that talks you through it also for most bits you need fully customisable items to really tune, i.e. customisable suspension etc also to do downforce you need front splitter and rear wing installed from gt auto but once installed you have info regarding all the parts and what changing the parameters can do to the car, trial and error my friend as each car is individual |

I completed the menu thing last week disappointingly so now trying to win every race on the map and struggling with fuel usage. In an 8 lap race I’m having to pit at least twice while every other car only once. If I choose a less powerful car I can pit once but I’m far too slow. Any advice folks?
I enjoyed the menus but would rather have had to buy cars to compete in each menu rather than use the ones I’ve been given for free. So I’d have had to race plenty of exhibition races to save up for said cars then the menus would have taken much longer to complete. Also so many cars given to me that I won’t use the vast majority of them.

Thank you. I didn’t realise you could manage the fuel load during a race. I used to do that on the F1 game but they stopped it and I’d forgotten about it. I’ll have a look. |

Thank you. I didn’t realise you could manage the fuel load during a race. I used to do that on the F1 game but they stopped it and I’d forgotten about it. I’ll have a look. also when up too top speed on a straight drop the mix to low as you dont lose much once your tanking along! anybody managed to drift properly yet by the way? |

Is it just me or was anyone else hoping for more from the game? The menus were too easy to complete and I’ve won the majority of the races on the maps already. I hoped to be forced to buy more cars, so I would have had to put more work into it. Does the online side cater more to that? I’ve never been much for online play as it doesn’t really allow for the pause button!
