Wonder if Ukraine will benefit from some sympathetic refereeing? What's happening to their country might light a fire under them, a bit like Denmark in the Euros after Eriksen? I can see Ukraine forfeiting, there are bigger things going on. Would absolutely love to see them smash Scotland and Wales mind! Just about to post something similar. Irrespective of what we feel about Wales & Scotland we have got to hope Ukraine get through to the World stage and hopefully their country will still at least in part be free.

2 wins and the obligatory draw will see us top the group with Ukraine in second spot. An extra time win in the quarters and a penalty shootout win in the final sees football come home, and in all likelihood the only major trophy I'll ever see my club or country lift. 🦁🦁🦁 Us, the yanks and Ukraine against Iran. Life imitating art😉 Should see a bit more life out of the USA with the draw we've had. The soccer ball world cup in the middle of the NFL season night make for some interesting viewing figures in the US of A. |

A great film made about him a while back. Was his only goal for the USA, had previously played for Haiti and died about 5 or 6 years after the game. |

Had no idea about the draw today.
Got a message from a friend from England about our possible meeting at the World Cup. Only later saw (by accident) the news about the draw... Normally we would be super excited. But now football looks something so distant.
Wishing you a great time in Qatar, friends.
And hope so much to stop russian nazis altogether. And then to watch some football.
