He's a solid Premier League centre back but he simply isn't international standard. Branthwaite will be, and the sooner he's playing the better. |

Lewis Dunk is nowhere near international standard. Branthwaite should be starting tonight. Mistake aside, I just don’t see the point of having Dunk in the squad. He’s never starting in the tournament and you may as well give the younger player the chance. He isn’t up to the standard, neither is chilwell or the other defenders at the moment. Shaw, Stones, Walker and Maguire are all better than these, except maybe Maguire for Konsa/ Gomez. Whatever front 6 you choose if good enough to compete with anyone in the world. Toney is looking excellent too. |

If Mainoo continues this form, I'd have absolutely no problem with him starting alongside Rice and Jude in a midfield 3 come the summer. I think you've still got enough license to let Foden drift in from the left and do whatever he wants as well. |
