A pretty poor performance - a few players who simply aren't good enough, and a few who should he just didn't turn up.

Hopefully, the likes of Mainoo and Branthwaite start in midweek, and Luke Shaw is fit for the summer.

Well at least we know we definitely need Kane, Saka and some sort of Rodri type player in midfield. Need Bellingham on for the whole game and dispense of Maguire, Chilwell and Gallagher. Thought Gordon did quite well. The rest of the fringe players did themselves no favours apart from Mainoo.

We ended up with effectively four centre backs. Almost Pulis like. I just don’t understand how Southgate can still pick and start Maguire. Gallagher is not international standard. Bellingham is an exceptional player though but we looked too laboured. You’d assume he’ll give Toney a start against Belgium.
