In fairness, apart from Foden, they all have. Apart from the penalty I think Lewis has had a great game. He's done ok, I wouldn't say great. |

This is where Southgate lacks something. I know it’s a meaningless game, but he tends to let games drift. He’s not proactive enough for me, doesn’t influence games enough with subs or tactics.

You missed the Kane sub… No, I think you’re spot on. Trent and Saka were walking around for the 15 mins before they came off - should’ve been subbed off sooner. He can’t see it or chooses to ignore it. |

If Dion Dublin took up refereeing he would not get much further tha the Wednesday afternoon walking football Lge.
Some of his statements this evening have been unbelievably bad.
I agree with him tonight's official was poor, and we should expect far better at this level, but some of his comments re free kicks etc, both for and against us were just plainly incorrect.

Thought Lewis was brilliant.
On current form, Sterling should be in on the left infront of Rashford and Grealish.

Maybe a tad harsh on Foden but, overall, has Pep’s relentless style had a negative effect on the Man City players who play for England - more so the attacking ones?
Might seem a bit mad given what Man City and England (to an extent) have achieved in the last few years but I don’t feel like they play with any sort of freedom when they turn up for England. They seem reserved and a bit boring, although very “safe” in possession.
Could also be Southgate obviously but the attacking we options we have very rarely shine in any of these types of games. It’s not an important one tonight but you’d still hope to win it fairly easily.
