I’d have liked to see Ramsdale in goal but I doubt our keeper would have much to do tonight. It’s a shame how weak we are at centre half, our only real weak spot. Been saying TAA should be in midfield long before Klopp tried it and with Bellingham and Rice that’s a brilliant midfield.

Gerrard has just made an excellent point about the diversity we’ve got in midfield too, all playing well at a high level. Unlike back in his day with the insistence of Gerrard/Lampard.

World Cup semis, Euro runner up, still exciting times to come.
