I know one of them was my near my first guess today, one of the Asian stans, probably only a small amount, about 5 maximum There are only two! The only reason I know is because I happened to be in one of those two countries a few years ago, and read about it whilst I was there (Liechtenstein, landlocked between Switzerland and Austria). You are correct the other one is Uzbekistan. By double-landlocked do you mean one country without a coastline landlocked by just two other countries as Uzbekistan is surrounded by five other countries? Lichtenstein fits this criteria as does Andorra, Bhutan, Eswatini, Moldova, Mongolia and Nepal?

No, where you have to pass through 2 other countries to get to the sea, and the Caspian sea doesn't count as it's landlocked

No, where you have to pass through 2 other countries to get to the sea, and the Caspian sea doesn't count as it's landlocked Thatβs correct. Another way of looking at is the double landlocked country is surrounded by countries that are in themselves landlocked eg Lichtenstein is surrounded by Austria and Switzerland which are both landlocked. In your example Nepal is landlocked but not double landlocked as you can get from Nepal to the sea via one other country, India.
