Well I am very disappointed with this so called upgrade. I was hoping for traditional cottage style carpets, roaring log fires with horse brasses round the fireplaces and maybe long handled copper bed warming pans on the walls together with a few fox hunting prints and old pictures of SOT as I remember it with smoke belching bottle kilns as far as the eye could see. A juke box playing 45 rpm records by the likes of Vera Lynn and Roger Whittaker (just how cool was he?) and, of course, lashings of warm beer on tap for the blokes and advocaat and lemonade for their laydees. An opportunity missed methinks!  |

The catering needs to be looked at soon, I know its the catering company and not SCFC setting prices but £4+ for a can of fucking Carling or Carlsberg (which are the worst fluids a human could possibly consume) is taking the piss. I don't mind paying over the odds as its to be expected in any hospitality line of business but lets get some Estrella, Cruz Campo or anyhalf decent types on the go. Also is there any news on staffing the concourse. The last 18 months has been pathetic. Seperating the food and alchohol sales in the boothen caused no end of problems. |

Was speaking to someone who is a rep dealing with football and sports pitches etc. Says stoke have been his best customer this summer spending a fortune. So hopefully the pitch is in great condition
