New stand looks tidy with the new seats in, new pitch is down as well........  It's going to look strange with new seats in. I've been used to the pink tinge for too long. |

The new seats look great, but after my visit to the club shop on Saturday I quickly noticed how tatty the externals of the stadium are. Filthy dirty panelling, flaking paint on the turnstile doors, birdshit and litter everywhere….there were decorators working on the main stand so hopefully it’s all going to get tidied up and sorted out.

I'm sure it'll all look resplendent come the first home game of the season. |

Very rarely our owners get credit for these things or ST prices or free away travel. Some still find a moan...my fave had to be that no one sings on the away travel coaches. We're not 8 year olds going to Chester Zoo.

Saw The Pink Tinge supporting World of Twist in the early 90s. Great band. Have you seen Gordon's book When Does The Mind Bending Start - The Life and Times of World of Twist? Fucking brilliant. I've heard that this tome will be released soon, yeah. Sincerely hope that it doesn't just skim over the many support acts that shared a bill with WoT. There were some great bands (especially in the early 90s). |
