One thing I like about this game is how it reveals the result.
In particular when it goes… green, green, green, green… grey.
It reminds me of Brucie’s play your cards right. You get on a roll, excitement mounts then you get to the last card and it goes tits up!
For some reason, that building anticipation followed by a crushing disappointment resonates with me. Maybe that’s why I became a Stoke supporter, or is it something that’s developed from being a Stoke supporter.

In this situation, I wonder if, with so many alternatives after your third go, you’d be better opting for a “trial” word using as many of the other most likely unused letters as you can. Ok, you miss the chance of getting a “4” but you increase your chance of getting a “5”. For example, you could have gone for misty which would probably have helped you complete the puzzle in “5”. Sometimes, a step back helps! |

Doing this, but daughter also sent me Globle this morning. Basically you have to guess a country everyday. It works on giving you colours for how close you are. White is wrong continent , orange is warm and red is hot, ie country is very close to the right one.
