I had been randomly getting my daily start word from first five-letter word I heard on TV or radio these last several months, now I've gone to using a pseudo-random method using the Waffle puzzle and picking the best word from it to start Wordle with. I do still like the old unforgiving random way because you could get surprised with a very poor word statistically, but the Waffle method still keeps it random and new enough everyday while given me some choices. I had gotten so bored using the same old regular start words before going random. Probably doesn't help my scores, but it keeps it fresh. Anyway...
