Gone to Cardiff on loan That's very annoying. Clearly too much attacking flair for this manager. What? You mean the manager that brought him into the team in the first place? People moan when DWP is being given less opportunities and then when he is in a squad with fewer similar players, people moan that there’s not enough depth.

Started like an Aston Martin finished like a Reliant Robin
All the potential in the world but seemed to get sussed out very quickly. Injuries didn’t help.
On balance I’d have liked to have had him this year but it would have been a gamble

Odds are he will go better after his experience last season. No idea where he would have fitted into our tactical masterclass though.

He was the best ball dribbler in the team last year. That’s either poor on our side or he’s a very talented young man. Either way, good signing for Cardiff.

But will he visit Malaysia?
About as likely as Gabriel Jesus visiting Rwanda.

Annoying as MON hasn’t got a clue and doesn’t play a formation that suites this guy

DWP needs a loan. We have Gayle, Campbell and Brown for 2 slots. DWP should be involved in the majority of games this season given that we can use 5 subs. JPB will want a guaranteed starting place, which we can’t really offer him without reducing the game time of the young players we own.

Thought this lad was a bit good but he didn't do enough after a promising start for us to go back in for him (or perhaps we did?) Be interesting to see how he fairs at Cardiff. He's a talent for sure.

If by not getting Jayden back means we’re pushing the boat out for Delap or Archer then I’m all for it! Can’t see either happening though to be honest!
Disappointing to see him go to Cardiff, on his day he is a right handful. Think we’ve done them a favour by giving him some games last season too!

Oodles of talent but it didn't add up to a row of beans for us.
Just have to hope this is not the season it all starts to come together for him.

He seemed to run up blind alleys. Dribbled himself to nowhere. Yep, he really wasn't that good at all. Could understand if we didn't go back in for him. Waste of a loan for me if we did

Cardiff have had quite a productive transfer window thus far, they may yet be dark horses. Steve Morison seems to be building a sound new squad without spending mega amounts..

Not bothered about this one.
Would've been fine from the bench, which neither he nor Villa would've been happy with - he'll probably have a make or break season with them.

Is this the Cardiff that are broke but have made 327 signings this summer, some on wages that I'm guessing are quite high?

Is this the Cardiff that are broke but have made 327 signings this summer, some on wages that I'm guessing are quite high? Their local paper said they'd have one of the lowest budgets in the league www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/cardiff-city-go-full-moneyball-23742593We have been told that the wage budget Cardiff have to operate on next season will place them among the lowest in the division. To be honest, I can't see why Villa or JPB would consider coming to a team thaat don't play with wide players. And I can't really see how MON would hope to attract anyone decent for that role if it's clearly going to be a little-used plan B?

But... Considering they are scraping the financial barrel, they have made a ridiculous amount of signings
