Yes. It's far far too normalised. With no disrespect to mtrstudent but even talking about suicidal drones and how we hope the uk has them. I just find it sickening. Again no disrespect to you mtrstudent because you're simply being a realist and if other armies are using these weapons then we should do. Sooner or later technology will be so strong that we don't need civillian armies and that's even more concerning. I agree it's horrifying. I don't see any nice choices. Russia is fucking monstrous, if it isn't stopped we're going to have brutal sickening violence in Europe for the rest of our lives. And even during the "peaceful" times, russians will be torturing innocent Ukrainians, Georgians, Moldovans or Estonians in the basements of their newly occupied towns. It's tens of millions under the jackboot with mass civilian murder, or an even huger stack of russian corpses. Those are our only choices.

Russian drones murdered anither innocent Ukrainian family. Just a little kid in his batman pajamas, he curled up and tried to survive. It didn't work 😢 They bought the drones from Iran? Seems like it.

Do you have an urge to hang yourself when you read or hear about the war? Yes. It's far far too normalised. --- suicidal drones --- Sooner or later technology will be so strong that we don't need civillian armies and that's even more concerning. I blame our global leaders and greed too. Sooner or later us or our ancestors will be on the receiving end of these weapons of mass destruction. Behind EVERY successful Ukraine or Russian attack are a load of families and friends suffering the needless loss of life because a few leaders can't agree with each other. Absolutely so! What is a suicide drone?

Do you have an urge to hang yourself when you read or hear about the war? Hope you don't musik! I feel sad and angry, but also similar feelings about Myanmar, East Africa, Israel-Palestine and so on. Ukraine is just the most black-and-white situation we've got, and we can fix it pretty easily. Your laundry room stories have often brightened my days musik, keep them coming! If the world had more musiks in it things would be loads nicer. No chance I will! I have far more better things to do. It would be to be beaten by something or someone I don't even know. I was actually thinking about my cousin who went into a desillusional state when another war was going on somewhere many years ago. We don't have any contact. I wonder how she feels about all this.

Our MOD estimates of russians killed+wounded daily by month.
The entire British army would be killed and wounded in just a few months at that rate.

"It's not war crimes if you had fun".
A *lot* of russians actively buy into the genocide. It's not all, but it's a huge number and it's not just Putin.

Absolutely bonkers. Plenty of those are prisoners or Ukrainians. They've occupied land with more than 350k men to recruit or force into the factories, so if there's somehow a ceasefire forced on Ukraine then Putin will believe he's won and be preparing for his next "victory" 😢 Also: that's "casualties" which includes wounded. If our MOD is accurate then loads of those 355k could recover.

The russians are now using Chinese vehicles to attack but there's a catch. They're basically golf carts.
The pic is blurry but the video is very violent.
Some of the Ukrainian defenders said they don't have enough artillery to bomb them, and they're fast so hard to hit with guns and drones.

Russia's T-14 "supertank" is apparently too valuable so won't be deployed in Ukraine, according to the CEO of Rostec, which is basically the russian defence industry. Source.

Looks like Ukraine have been successful again in their attempts to increase the size of the Russian submarine fleet by sinking another of its surface fleet.

Anyone remember when Ukraine negotiated with Russia to let Ukrainian grain through, then Russia kept slowing things down and when it expired, they demanded more giveaways? How russia threatened and screamed that you had to give them what they want?
Ukraine showed how to negotiate with russia. Ignore Putin, just sink his ships, and now Ukrainian black sea exports are above what russia allowed under the deal.
Ukraine knows you can never ever give in to russia, never ever accept a deal from a position of weakness, or russia will just come back for more.

Looks like Russia got a HIMARS.
About the 100th they've claimed to destroy. We know 2 were damaged and now one destroyed over 20 months. 😢

What is Macron's agenda here?
He knows that the US aren't interested in escalating it, so what is it that he's actually advocating Europe should do?
And why is he bringing up Putin mentioning nuclear weapons, so what if he is, what is he suggesting we do about it?

Russia is now sending T-54/55 tanks from the 1950s regularly into frontline attacks.
This is the fourth one knocked out in a month.

There are some pretty wild rumours running around that Russia landed a ballistic missile in Odesa near Zelenskyy today, he was close to meeting the Greek PM.

Here's twitter link (delete the space) https:// twitter.com/Tendar/status/1765376298736586834?s=20 Another one; www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/s/6BfgudqeXkSome of the experts are suspicious about it, apparently the actions don't necessarily line up with older vids from the Ukrainians? I guess everything is a confusing mess.

Yet another Russian attack on the small town of Novomikhailivka. First video in ages where I didn't spot obvious death and bodies.
This is happening at many places across the entire front, often several times a day.
Amazing drone drops to destroy disabled tanks, and really complicated "cages" to protect the troop carriers.
This attack also had a T-62 in it, and notice how the troop carriers didn't have little turrets. The russians would much rather have modern tanks and turreted BMP troop carriers, but they're relying more on older and junkier Soviet stuff.

Europe+Canada put together the cash to buy 800,000 shells for Ukraine, the news says they'll start arriving "within weeks" and last "several months".
Ukraine is estimated to need somewhere from 150-300,000 shells per month to hold the line. Probably the higher end now that russia is attacking like crazy.
Too late to save Avdiivka, but Putin's window to break the Ukrainian army is now closing.

He’s probably just after something to distract people. If he actually cared about Ukraine, maybe he’d send more aid.

The russians are using more Chinese off-road "golf carts" to transport soldiers on the front line. Supported by T-54 and T-62 tanks with their turrets taken off.
There's a video of a golf cart hitting a mine and the russians getting blown literally sky high.
A real mad max vibe.

Russian offensives continue all over the place. At least six "hot zones" where they regularly attack in big groups. They lost another 15 vehicles near Bakhmut.
The oryx group, who count lost equipment, have counted 40 russian tanks and 82 other russian armoured vehicles hit in the last 7 days.
It's not clear how long they can keep this up. Bad case is through summer, but a good bet would be a slowdown either after the russian "election" or in spring when it gets muddy.

In 2023 Germany said it will be a large scale European war going on in 6 years from now if Nato does NOT increase their military efforts to compete with Russia. As it is Russia has a great advantage. If we level things rather quickly it will take ten years, they said.
