From the Grauniad: Last night, soon after Leeds United’s 7-0 evisceration at the hands of Manchester City at the Etihad, an angry caller got in touch with a late-night talkSport show and said it was time for Marcelo Bielsa to leave the club. “He’s got to go, simply, that’s all I’ve got to say on that matter,” said Jack, who had plenty more to say on the matter before nominating his two potential replacements. “There are managers out there,” he said. “I’ll throw a couple of names out there now. I’m a big admirer of Sam Allardyce. Even Steve Bruce, I’d have him in charge.” How quickly they forget, eh?
Remind you of anyone on this board?

I don’t know what they’re whining at, Leeds did well to restrict Man City to 7 from their first inning.

It's always the case with supporters of any club going through a bad patch or where expectations have been high and are not being realised. Most managers will get the sack at some time (very few have NEVER been sacked). Supporters will usually quote their potential alternative bosses. Of course, they will not claim any responsibility should their 'hero' prove as poor as he who was replaced - that's not in fans' nature.

Leeds will never get a better manager than Marcelo Bielsa. What they need to do is thank their lucky stars and suck it up.

He has done well, the gap between this league and the one above is hige. Fulham went up, much like this season as the best of what the league has to offer. they got ripped to pieces and relegated. he keeks them up he has done well, hate the bastards, but well he is doing.

If you read carefully I wasn't "calling him out" or suggesting a change at all. It was just an observation.

Nobody can guarantee promotion. Bielsa can!!! He didn't take Leeds up in his first season. If he didn't take us up in his first season you'd be on about sacking him and spamming threads like you are now.

Fucking'll not another one, you girls should get a room. It's message board FFS!!! It's a message board. An internet conversation facility. And you ruin it by bringing up this one topic with monotonous regularity. If you mention it on threads that are even vaguely relevant it's dull but on topic . Repetitive and tiresome but on task. As it is it's just a spammy obsession. As if you take some pleasure in willfully spoiling otherwise decent conversation.

How old are you for Christ sakes, I have an issue with our manager in fact I don’t think he’s the right person to take us any further, I don’t criticise your posts telling everyone when we’re on Tv, get a life ode!! And for the record, I’d rather see a new manager. A foreign one!!!

To be fair to Leeds they really aren’t that far off Europe or challenging for the premier league. I think if Bielsa could get a German passport it could be the real difference.

When was the last time they conceded 7 in a game?
Date: Sunday, 21st December 1986.
Venue: Victoria Ground, Stoke-on-Trent.
Competition: Second Division.
Score: Stoke City 7 Leeds United 2.
Scorers: Stoke City: Morgan (3), Saunders, Dixon, Kelly, Ford. Leeds United: Baird, Sheridan (pen).
