In Rowetts first season we drew early on with a recently promoted Brentford andwere Lucky to do so . Tonight shine's a light on the absolute failure of our leadership in the intervening years .now we can barely lay a glove on them .The appalling waste of resources. The ineptitude of management was there for all to see in that time they have bought and sold well .got promoted found raw playing and management talent and built a brand new ground Scholes and Co hang your heads in shame it's actually embaraasing or should be

Fair play to Duhaney Not many are lucky enough to win a competition to play in a professional match I thought he was ok tonight Is he banned from crossing? Not one all night and he had plenty of chances.

Newly relegated team that held on to most of its players drew with newly promoted team starting to build. Fast forward 3 years. Shock Horror ..... Championship team slowly rebuilding having got rid of most of its deadweight is beaten by a single goal against an established premiership team. And your point is?

Oh well. If we do not win on Saturday, then MON can always blame it on fatigue, injuries and bad luck.

I thought he did better there than Wilmot managed the other day so not totally pointless, he is back up tbf and probably very cheap back up at that. He couldn’t even get on the bench ahead of Ince the other day initially. He’s totally pointless. he wasn't on the bench because he had been injured and so when Smith said he was fine, Duhaney did a morning's training on Saturday to get his fitness up. that is why he wasn't int he 18 along with Doughty

Wank management or no trust in the player. Either way, that’s poor.

I'm so angry that we've thrown away a period in our history which i don't believe i will not see again,

Not sure if it’s been said but can anyone understand why he took Campbell and fletcher off? When we were on the front foot and pressing?
Instantly stopped our forward momentum. And if that sima is a professional footballer I could be a ballet dancer.
Up there with sobhi for lack of anything

What happened to the rule that you have to take the goal kick from the side that the ball went out from? That's never been a rule Yes it has. But it was changed a while ago, allowing the goalkeeper to decide. That's why it's a shite rule, & helps time wasting.

And if that sima is a professional footballer I could be a ballet dancer. Up there with sobhi for lack of anything Yes Saturday is far more important for the club. Both are coming back from injury. They are by far the most effective striker partnership we have at the club, were playing really well together last year before disaster struck so the last thing we wanted last night was for either of them to get injured because of fatigue in the last half an hour. Whatever we say the league is what really matters, the cup is just a distraction and opportunity to give game time to players who need it. Just look at how much we publicise these matches to understand what it means to the hierarchy. I was surprised he even risked staring Campbell.
