Tight between the Irish and Canadians

Last I saw 10 balls left. 26 reqd. 4 wkts. I think Ireland may lose this but if these two stay in they could win it or if someone hits a couple of sixes. Lose 2 wkts and they could be done for. Is it over yet?

Big win for Afghanistan overnight.

I watched the Afghanistan game last night. They have always had quality spinners but they now have a couple of decent seamers as well. In these conditions they will be a match for anyone and could even win the tournament. However New Zealand's decision not to bother playing any warm up matches has backfired on them horribly. They looked like a team that haven't played for months.

Saffers going well against their bogey team
Say this every time and they fail to deliver but they look good.

I presume this will be the last time we come up against Warner unless we meet them again later in the tournament.

How Wood gets in this side over Topley is mind boggling.

Commentator “Wood is so quick”. As yet another ball sails over the boundary for 6. Getting boring…..

The size of the boundary for elite T20 cricket is pathetic as well…..

This is embarrassing from England……. Absolutely mental how the think tank have decided between themselves that Will Jacks should take the new ball and then Wood should come on and bowl bouncers to the shorter boundary.

I love Buttler as a white ball cricketer but he just stands their scratching his head as a captain, it’s painful….

No better sight in cricket than an Aussie with his stumps upended.
Go on Jofra

The concern here is it’s taken 70 very quick runs for us to realise that pace off/cutters are effective on this surface.
We’ll be faced with that from ball one now the Aussies have had a look.

202 to win. That seems a lot. We have to at least get close otherwise net run rate will be a major problem.

Let's see what we can do.

We’re going to have to absolutely hammer the other two sides in our group to progress

We’re going to have to absolutely hammer the other two sides in our group to progress The first two games so far are giving very similar vibes to the 50 over World Cup. Very difficult to see what we’re trying to do and there just doesn’t seem to be a hunger in the side.

There doesn’t appear to be a discernible plan in batting or bowling. Looks like it’s just a turn up and play cricket attitude. And Butler is never a captain, said it when he got the job

Even with a short boundary we can't seem to find it.
Been awful in these middle overs

Bowled poorly, fielded poorly, our big hitters powder puff, lets hope the point that Scotland got against us doesn't come back to haunt us.

Not good enough. We could find ourselves scrambling to get through on run rate…..
