Isn’t there usually a Rate the Manager thread by now? Again the agenda shit. Very few people on here actually watched it live or on tv at this time. Take your tin foil hat off.

So those that did see it, or saw the side, set up, subs etc can’t have an opinion? You don’t want him to receive any plaudits for tonight because we won. You have a clear agenda and you can’t disguise it by trying to deflect on to me. You need to calm down.

I haven’t mentioned having an opinion on these things but you can’t judge a manager or the players from listening on the radio and seeing the goals on SSN. I’m doing the opposite of showing any agenda. It’s a lazy bollocks argument anyway. And this shows it!

There will be some who have watched it, and some who will have an opinion on the starting 11 and subs, which is usually a big part of how the manager is judged. You having a hissy fit just shows you up. Silly boy.

You can comment on subs etc and we have. But a lack of streams and a long journey for the few that went is the reason. Not some agenda because we won and people didn’t want to say. Which is what you were suggesting. Not a hissy fit, just sick of people who think everything is driven by some form of fucking agenda when actually it’s bollocks.

Not taking anything away from Stoke's performance, but how many of the Watford first teamers were out tonight??? Serious question, cuz I don't follow the premier league anymore, so I haven't a clue who plays in Watford's first team???
So, if most were still playing, that'd make our result even more sweeter!!!

From what l could gather from the radio commentary, l'd say Davies, Baart and Doughty 8 Chester 5 Surridge 6 Everyone else 7 Trust me, no-one who was there would be giving Chester a five! To me, a score of five implies a competent, if unspectacular performance. His performance stood out as particularly weak last night, four or three would be more like it. Your others are pretty accurate. Surridge worries me a bit. We might be expecting too much of him if we want him to be a hold the ball up type of striker, he's far too easily brushed off the ball for that and is not that great at taking players on, so any kind of high-line or tight defence he seems to struggle a bit. Remember this was against Watford's reserves. In the box appears to be a different story, so how we complement this, if he carries on playing, is tricky.

Isn’t there usually a Rate the Manager thread by now? I would usually do a thread but it would all be guesswork just as this player rating thread is. I didn't go or get the opportunity to watch it live, I've listened to the radio coverage and looked for the highlights but that depends which site you look at to draw a conclusion under as some show it's all about Watford spurning chance after chance and Stoke getting lucky with a couple of shots. I prefer to leave the ratings threads to those who have seen the match. Gouranga.

Davies 9 incredible shot shopping, point off for slow distribution Duhaney 6 good defensively, little going forward Wilmott 6 good on the ground, poor in the air Batth 7 battling defensive showing Chester 4 all over the shop defending and in possession Doughty 8 excellent in attack and defence Powell 7 great goal, some good touches but tired Thompson 7 great on the ball, slow to close down defensively Tymon 8 great all round performance Brown 7 worked hard, good assist Surridge 5 good movement but unable to retain possession
Clucas 7 made a difference around their box Sima 7 energetic and a threat every time he got the ball Sawyers 7 took the sting out of the game
