Anyone else watching this 4 part series? It's a slow burning, based on real life drama.
It struck me just what a good actor Martin Clunes has become. I must admit I prefer these real life dramas to the fictional ones that are so popular right now which have just become a bit daft IMHO.

Don’t normally like these types of police dramas, but this is good as it’s not really over egging things. I agree Clunes is a very good actor and damn nice chap too.

A good doc on either Netflix or Prime about him watched a few weeks ago Edit...no a different one.

Yes I prefer factual cases too. By contrast I saw the first double-episode of the new Silent Witness series and must admit the storyline was so wildly ridiculous and unbelievable that I’m thinking they must be running out of ideas. Also when they get drama school actors to play prison convicts they have them being continuously angry and ready to kick off at all times - no one can be that angry 24/7, not even Neil Warnock or Roy Keane, it’s not possible!
