I think it shows even more how little emphasis teams put on this. Really has become a 5 th rate trophy. Only Man City seem to take it seriously Been saying it for 20 years, is games teams simply don't want as team selection shows and the crowds throughout the tournament show the fan interest. Obviously when you get to business end they crawl out of the woodwork but the fact we opened half the ground and some teams,one stand back that up. Someone always pops up with the..yeah but the only thing we've won and has to be kept going etc but that was 50 years ago and the massive lack of interest in general is in the figures. The Boro away followings doesn't paper over the awful crowds over the tournament I’ve said it multiple times, it needs to be canned and more emphasis put into bringing the FA cup up to the glory years of Saint and Greavsie in a pub with the teams at 9am and Des Lynam wearing his best suit |

Cup final Mastermind and some b list celeb claiming to support one of the teams a doing a cheeky comic routine. Supersonic Sid Little or Rusty Lee in their Watford scarf then the onboard bus camera . Gary Crooks doing a feature that 2 more black than white players were booked in a game in Round 4 and proof that racism still exists. |

Contrary to most, ive never really had a problem with Man Utd. Find Liverpool and the London teams a lot less likeable
However they look in a right mess. Wouldnt surprise me if the Geordies get a couple more
