Absolutely no idea how Emerson Royal is still at spurs and gets game time, literally not seen him ever have a good game! Absolute fart juice

That pisses me off. Through on goal but loses the chance because he can't get the ball onto his left. Shoot with your right ferfuxache.

I've just assumed that Man City will just on a 15 match winning run after Xmas and win the league again Is that wrong? Are Spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Villa changing the order? Are we actually going to get a competitive open title race? Man City not looking their normal selves so far By that I mean winning fairly comfortably most games, well nearly every game. Hate to say, Arsenal looking impressive so far again although would be nice to see Spurs in the race. Villa most improved, real nice side

Can Spurs actually challenge for it? I don’t think they’ve got enough depth as it stands but if they can make it to January in this position I think they have quite a good chance. Not sure Man City or Arsenal are as good as last season.

Are we actually going to get a competitive open title race? Remember it was competitive last season until the middle of March. Man City are understandably favourites again though. Like Lester in 15/16 everyone is waiting for Spurs to drop off. I am too but I know what Ange is like. When he was here my mate was talking to him and said we wouldn't be able go all season unbeaten. Ange interrupted him and asked "why not? Why can't we?". He seemed affronted by that little aside. That positive approach is a big part of his mindset. I don't expect them to win the title or anything but they will be competitive up there.

One way of looking at tonight’s game compare with the champ, is its shit passes at high speed. Is that where the excitement comes from?

At Man City or Anfield it won't be a rearguard action or anything. It's just forward play and movement. Pegged back they won't lump it clear it'll be played out. Double edged sword.

What an amazing insight Gary O’Neil gave tonight especially after the game and said he’d learnt a lot of all the managers he’d worked under Pulis gave him his debut at 16 Obvious mention for Harry But praise for none other than Alex Neil in his time at Norwich under him and especially for being a very good tactician

VAR is definitely employed by Liverpool today... Everton defended well but under the rules is a penalty. Red card was harsh and IF he'd given the Liverpool one it would have been even harsher. You'd feel hard done by if an Everton fan but Young was always risking a red with that challenge on the edge of the box. The very last thing we need is a Liverpool apologist by the name of Jesus when even Klopp knows Konate should have been off.

Not the most exciting games in the Champions League this evening. Talking of champions league, does anybody remember the Sunday supplement on sky sports on a Sunday morning. Martin Samuel tipped us to reach the champions league once.

Radcliffe 3 Stafford Rangers 1 half time.
Radcliffe knocking the ball around for fun, Rangers going route one.
Fair few Rangers fans here and a few Stoke pin badges/coats on show……

Sunderland deserve something on the basis of this second half at Leicester.
Nice to see a team not shitting themselves against leicester.
Sunderland are just missing a defensive mid and striker

Seems like Middlesbrough might have made a good decision, not to panic after a poor start and to stick with Carrick.
