You have to feel for the Ipswich fans who will surely be not far off I thought earlier today that this would happen when I saw the fixture pop up, it's monsooned it down all day in Yorkshire crazy that they wouldn't make an earlier call really....... Was it meant to be on TV? I wonder if that comes into it? i.e. pressure for the game to go ahead. People have been sent home from work early because of the rains here in South Yorkshire so there is no excuse for such a late call. Hopefully not many Ipswich fans tried to make a go of it. Just been told that the river next to the ground was flooding at 2.30pm!!!

Apparently a few of them couldn't get out of Suffolk anyway, but most of the 2000 already in Rotherham by the time it was postponed. A night out in Rotherham it is then.... Poor things! Apparently Rotherham couldn't call it off because there is no issue in the ground, it was the Police who made the call based on surrounding areas so the club cant really be criticised for the late call I suppose?

I drove up from down south near London yesterday afternoon, was fine, surprisingly quiet, and had no rain at all until I got to the M1/M6 junction then it turned shit for hours.

The Merseyside derby is usually the dullest game of the season
You can tell it's a particularly bad one when the commentator uses the term, 'typical Merseyside derby' 20 or so minutes in. Roughly translates as... bugger all happening apart from a lot of free kicks and a a midfield slogfest with Liverpool eventually scoring

This what Everton are doing is called holding your shape. Look at it. No deviation at all. Rigid unswerving and stubborn. And in its own way brilliant 😁

Surprised commentary didn't pick up on it as Liverpool were about to take a throw in and he's deliberately kicked the ball away 20 yards

VAR is definitely employed by Liverpool today... Everton defended well but under the rules is a penalty. Red card was harsh and IF he'd given the Liverpool one it would have been even harsher. You'd feel hard done by if an Everton fan but Young was always risking a red with that challenge on the edge of the box.

Unai Emery is a brilliant coach. Good times are back at Villa. He comes across as a really likeable bloke as well.

Roma v Monza is 0-0 but it's really good and sunny I watched the Salernitana v Cagliari match, lovely and sunny there as well 2-2. Inzhagi managing Salerno, Tinker man managing Cagliari I saw Salernitana's ground a few weeks ago passing through Salerno on the train.

Watching the spurs game cus it’s on telly. On about 17 mins Willian is attacking the left wing, dus a nice move with the outside of his foot to push the ball infield but his bodies trajectory is to forward ish not because Riley to pull up and follow the ball, inviting or actually wanting a collision, is that obstruction if the defender is almost still🤷♂️I’d kinda get it if he followed the trajectory of where he moved the ball but it didn’t seem so🤷♂️

I've just assumed that Man City will just on a 15 match winning run after Xmas and win the league again
Is that wrong?
Are Spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Villa changing the order?
Are we actually going to get a competitive open title race?
