Got laughed at on here for saying Russell Martin would be gone by Christmas 👍🏻 Really? Think a lot could see what was coming there, amazed he got that job

I’d rather watch a competitive championship every week with no VAR and a league where in general you don’t know the outcome of each game prior to kick off whether you think it’s shit or not Again that’s a completely different argument. I’d rather watch us be a good championship team than a poor premier league one and I was well bored of the premier league by the time we were relegated. That we aren’t a competitive championship team when surrounded by such mediocrity is tiring, frustrating and downright embarrassing. That we have a so many apologists for this latest shit show is frightening. Aren’t a competitive team yet

Just watched the Wolves at Luton 1-1 draw. Jacob Brown subbed off at about 65 minutes, but he did his thing out there harrying the opposition and looks like he belongs. Just literally ran himself down and took punches and shoves from Wolves players the whole match. Nearly set up two goals. (But he's not "good" enough to be a squad-player for us?) Oh well, probably was getting unaffordable...
Wolves were in their ugly powder-blue away kit with the scribbling all over the front and the special needs "Wolf" logo instead of the usual piss-yellow nightmare ("Old Gold" my arse) with the special-needs Wolf logo and the less I say about Luton's home kit the better. I just don't like that shade of "red." Actually liked their retro-stadium looking like a set from Escape from New York- screw it, make these PL teams play there, it's not like Wolves are "too good" for the place.
Have to say Wolves got away with their usual pushing/shoving bullshite the whole game until Luton finally awarded a PK to tie it. (But even THAT PK was for a hand-ball)
I'm shopping for defenders - that Matt Doherty guy for wolves is an offensive, cheating, mean-ass improvisational play-actor that would be great for our defense. Just looking at the guy pisses me off - we need someone like that. He got ripped off by a VAR decision where a ball hit his lower leg then caromed off his hand which was above his head for Carlton Morris's PK goal to level things. That Hugo Bueno is a right twat as well that got away with a lot of shithousery and outright hand to hand combat throughout the game - I'd take him as well. Nelson Samedo (Relative of Baron Samedi?) plays like an escaped felon, who is really sneaky about when he assaults another player then he's real good at begging to the referee and getting away with it. Then he goes right back and either pushes or kicks the hell out of somebody as soon as the refs aren't looking. Seems good at winding players up like Walters used to do for us. Looks like someone if they searched him would be carrying a blade out there. Wolves HAD to play a lot of defense because Luton kept harassing them and trying to keep the game in the Wolves end. Wolves is dirty dirty dirty, seeming to favor head-locks and clotheslining people and the refs are just their usual blind and incompetent fools. It's not like I can stand Luton either, but they clearly approached the realms of possibly..."deserving" to get a second goal for a win. But it ended 1-1.
Luton got their first point of the season. If they couldn't win this one, then the games from here on out aren't going to get any easier. Wolves didn't impress me at all either, pretty much parked the bus and relied upon their advanced cheating, shithousery and referee-harassment skills. Some of you have said it before on here but that Lemina really IS a total whenging twat.
But Luton kept it entertaining by continuing to press for a score - not your typical 1-1 borefest.

Bad set of results today bringing us closer to the relegation zone. Big 3 points needed tomorrow given our upcoming fixtures.

We definitely need to start winning mate for sure but I wouldn't start flapping just yet. I mean two wins and we are in the playoff positions. Obviously we need to get the two wins that's the tricky bit 😅😅

Obviously we need to get the two wins that's the tricky bit 😅😅 My worry is the October fixtures more. I can't remember all the teams but Leicester, Southampton, Sunderland, Boro and Leeds I think it is? That's why I think tomorrow and then the Bristol game after are both important to try and get a few points. Because that's a very difficult October. Think we've had a bit misfortune with injuries in the attacking department which hasn't helped either.

On Paper, October looks tough but Middlesbrough are below us, Southampton are in freefall (hopefully Russell Martin will still be there when we play them) and last time we played Sunderland, we scored 5. Leicester and Leeds will be tough but they will attack us which could actually work in our favour. I think we will get more points in October than we do in September. I apologise for this post. I know optimism is frowned upon on here!

Nathan Collins having a mare for Brentford tonight. Yeah he’s been shocking. To be honest I was surprised when Brentford spent the money that they did he didn’t look wonderful at Wolves at times…….

Nathan Collins having a mare for Brentford tonight. Shows just how good, yet criminally underrated, Ryan Shawcross was. Collins and Souttar both looked excellent for us. Neither come anywhere close to Ryan at the same age.

7-0 to Bayern Munich, Kane with a hatrick, that’s 8 in 6. I knew he’d make them worse🤦🏻♂️ Two assists too. Imagine what he could have done if he wasn't stuck a Spurs for a decade!

Not doing too well either are they. Maybe they've reached their plateau. The crowd is not as up for it and are starting to develop a sense of entitlement, expecting rather than hoping. Wanting more.... it happens! 😞 I'm not sure they're at the stage where they're bored with it and would enjoy a season in the championship and a glorious promotion season, just for a bit of excitement. Fucking hell. 😩

They have worked brilliantly well as a club to get to where they are and to stay there yet it could all be unravelled due to one man's mistakes/problem or however you wish to describe it.

Not doing too well either are they. I hope so, I grew up with Brentford not even part as the also rans, a nothing club and team. It's like a parallel universe seeing them consistently flying high. Same can be said for Brighton to a certain extent. Fair play Brentford but you know, reign it in a bit now please, you've had your fun in the sun

Yeah, I'd settle for a striker that scores 25 in two seasons at this level to be fair. We can deal with the gambling issues later...

I know optimism is frowned upon on here! Southampton look dreadful trying to play out from the back but Sunderland look a far better side than us, last season's result is irrelevant but no game is predictable in this league of course. Leeds look like a side who are taking off at last and will certainly be automatic promotion contenders for me , Sunderland more than likely play offs or there about although a long season. Impossible to predict results at this level but some tough games coming up.
