£2m apparently +if they sell him now presumably they make a lower fee than if they had stayed up (assuming there is a sell on clause) that could hit us again I suppose the positive is Watford, Norwich and Burnley might be all in bad shape going into next season, might be the first time in a long time that none go straight back up. Lots can happen in the summer of course but none look in any way set for a promotion campaign Respect your points but what are you basing your opinion about the 3 relegated clubs ? Norwich were even worse last time and then won the league. Watford to me look a yo-yo club. Burnley were relegation in waiting I think of the 3 they'll fare worst Watford look an absolute basket case to me, they could go straight through Norwich, the fans have been protesting this time, Pukki getting old (too old?) Burnley are in a big financial mess I'd say Norwich are in the best position but it just doesn't look good there, Smith is an asset though

What a finale.
Greatest sport in the world.
And great to see Scousers crying too.
That Man City game was unbelievable. So entertaining.
That's why we love the game.

But hopefully at least one follows our example of settling into a rhythm of mid-table mediocrity. I'd say on paper it looks the weakest three to come down in a while. Having said that they'll all be there or thereabouts unless they make Rowett sized cock ups.

Redknapp got the full arse on him, Keane is pantomime villain but also has the look of ‘Liverpool didn’t win it, so fuck it.’ Great end to end the season and pleased that Man City sealed it.

No they’re thinking where are we going to get the missing £50m revenue from next season £50m? £100m+ isn't it? Don't they also have a debt obligation that's due if they get relegated. They could be a whole heap of trouble.

Financially you'd think they'd be ok. They could sell Pope, McNeil, Cornet and Collins tomorrow and get almost all of that money in the bank before they even touch the parachute money. Don't fancy their chances of going back much, but you'd think they would avoid an armageddon.

How much has Burnley’s relegation cost us? Didn’t someone on here say part of the Collins’ transfer fee was for Burnley staying up. They may sell him now? We should have a decent sell on percentage. Although Tarkowski is sure to be sold so they might want to keep Collins. It looks like Tarkowski will be leaving on his free as his contract is up (Newcastle and Villa linked) One positive is several of their older players, including Bardsley and Pieters, are also out of contract, so it should help them clear the wage bill.

Didn't see the Brentford game but didn't help themselves watching the highlights
What on Earth was Collins doing? Talk about dropping your team in it when you need a result. No excuses for that
