What a finale. Greatest sport in the world. And great to see Scousers crying too. That Man City game was unbelievable. So entertaining. That's why we love the game. How anyone can not like football I don't know. Nothing matches the emotions Blokes who don't like Football The strangest beings on God's earth. I'll do everything I can to steer well clear of them and blokes with long hair. Can't be trusted. And don't get me started on fat birds with small tits

Always liked Ashley Barnes. Looks like a player you'd hate to be marking. Ashley Barnes is the kind of striker we always sign two years after he became too slow to be useful. Nailed on Fletcher replacement. He would be a great signing the kind of twatness we need leading the line.

I think Halifax was when Peter Hoekstra got badly injured. and also had the "Town" name. Chesterfield were definitely still at their old ground.

I remember Lightbourne scoring a couple at Saltergate and I’m pretty sure we won there in Autoglass(or whatever it was called then) in extra time🤔through Super James?

Play offs are ace. Why did it take until 1987 ? We had Test Matches to decide promotion and relegation as long ago as 1892-3 season. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1892%E2%80%9393_Football_League Bottom 3 Div 1 v Top 3 Div 2. No finals though, just one off games (with one replay). As with three points for a win, and banning back passes, the play offs seems such an obvious idea which took far too long to bring in (and I think were just to facilitate changing numbers in divisions when brought in). When you consider that for decades, there weren't even substitutes when someone broke a leg, you realise that football has largely been run by idiots for its entire history, and it all makes sense.

Man City's other new wonderkid signing just getting the SIX goals last night in the Copa Libertadores, for River Plate
If you're a young striker coming through at Man City, you'd be thinking about leaving, wouldn't you?

Another trophy for Jose I understand the reasons why he's not everyone's cup of tea but you have to credit him, he's a phenomenon He was obsessed with being the first manager win the European Cup with three different teams. That ship might have sailed now. But he's still a trophy getter as you say. He was deemed to be a failure at the shit but he won a couple of trophies
