Not entirely sure that’s the same as ‘doing a good job’. He’s done enough, fair play, and maybe he’s done that Sherwood type short-term motivating thing. But I can’t demonstrably see what’s down to him or what changes he’s made that have made them better. He’s kept them up having taken them deeper into the shit to start with. Keeping them up is a good job. I don’t think it’s as black and white as that. Not sure that stands up to analysis. We were a couple of sitters and a Butland Brainfart away from staying up, but it’d be a generous analysis had that happened to say Lambert had done a good job.

Keeping them up is a good job. Not from the position and time he took over He's not the worst manager out there but a good manager would have had them safe ages ok That club was beyond toxic. He’s stopped that in the short term.

Sacking Rafa stopped that You still have a job to do after. Yes... Which he didn't very well Not very badly either He's an average manager As memories of his illustrious playing career fade his managerial career will slide too See Bryan Robson for example I think he'll end up as England U21 manager one day and will probably really suit that job If he's still Everton manager June 2023 then he's doing well

Please tell me you can pick up Trinidad & Tobago when they have the neighborhood steel-drum competitions/festivals? What an antenna!

You literally click on a country and get their TV stations. I take it his does that. Not too hard to set up at all. Have actually seen Vanuatu on mine amongst others but not indulged in their version of Loose Women in the afternoon as of yet. Been watching the Ice Hockey recently. You don't need a special antenna or anything.

I don't think it is with the amount of money they've spent on that squad they should be nowhere near relegation so it wasn't a hard job, they also dropped points against shit teams, they're just lucky because Leeds and Burnley have even worse, especially since Burnley have gone down bank since they beat Watford they seemed like they'd walk it. Evertons football has been absolute terrible, infact it's been worse than ours under pulis.

If he fails to to push them on next season then it’s fair. But his goal was to keep them up and he did that.

He's had a load of games and I'd say the board would want more than "keeping them up" if they wanted that they'd have gone with big Sam or pulis.

He had a short term goal to keep them up. He did that. The longer term goals will start from now.

All those pubs and night life in London, and people choose to sit in Trafalgar Square with a few warm tinnies, don't get it myself...........

Today is the National League North Play off Final
York v Boston
Boston (63pts) finished 7th and 24 points behind 2nd place Brackley (87 pts) but it is Boston who have a place in Final after Brackley lost their Play Off game to York (66pts) who also finished 21 points behind them.
Play Offs are between 2nd and 7th placed teams.
