Hamburg win 1-0 second leg on Monday and deserved it tonight!. Great result that away from home Yeah definitely. Mind you Hertha struggled for 2-3 years amd tried to spend their way out of trouble on the wrong players and it's bitten them on the arse. Our last days in the prem it's reminds me of.

Got to hand it to him, he turned it round. There may be a manager somewhere in there after all!

These Goodison celebrations on the pitch are a bit of a embarrassing statement

I don't want to be a killjoy but the return of pitch invasions is very unwelcome.

Why? He’s done a good job. Has he though? He made some appalling vanity signings who’ve made no impression whatsoever, took them deeper into the mire and has just barely kept them out of it at the last.

I think Benitez was taking them down. He was doing a shit job but I don’t think Lampard’s done a particularly better one. I don’t see him being there on 1st January.

He’s kept them up and I don’t think Benitez would have done. He seems to have given the fans a kick up the arse too. No I wouldn’t be shocked if he wasn’t either. But he’s done a good job so far.

Their games seem like total chaos, he doesn’t seem to have any kind of tactical plan and he ignores adding to a dreadful defence to sign two high profile midfielders they didn’t really need who’ve done the square root of fuck all between them.

He’s taken Derby from 6th to 6th, Chelsea from 4th to 4th and Everton from 16th to 16th so at least he’s consistent……

He’s done enough, fair play, and maybe he’s done that Sherwood type short-term motivating thing. But I can’t demonstrably see what’s down to him or what changes he’s made that have made them better. He’s kept them up having taken them deeper into the shit to start with.
