Has anyone had any experience with these poxy private parking ticket companies?
I got a ticket last month - I parked on a shopping centre car park and exceeded the 2 hour limit. £60 fine from CM Services Ltd. I paid it by cheque and it cleared end of last month. Now they are writing to me to say its not paid and I now owe them £124! I know these firms are basically twats, but I'm unsure of what to do next - any ideas?
Cheers

Give them a call and explain what is going on.
Maybe ask them to repay you the fine for the inconvenience they have caused you.
Always worth a shot.

Shit in a bag and post it to their head office. Not really fair. Hermes will chuck it over the fence into some random neighbours garden.

Cheers Look on moneysavingexpert and or google the company, I think if its not from the council or pc plod it isnt worth the paper its written on, I got one at my local train station years ago because sun was so hot ticket fell off windscreen, they started off at £60 went all the way upto £450 before a final discounted offer of £115 paid nothing and that was the end of it. I'd ask the bank if they can cancel the cheque and get your money back if its not a council notice.

You don’t have to pay any private parking fine
Tell them to fuck off
I had one sending me fake court letters once
