He gets the bulk of his xG centrally, between the penalty spot & the six yard line, largely with his feet. Similar shot map in his first three Championship seasons compared to his most recent three seasons. He's also a fully paid up member of the "shot from distance" club. So that bit's wasteful & largely fruitless. Attachment Deleted2018/19 and 2019/20 were his most productive xG per 90 seasons & also when he got on the pitch most often. He averages 0.23 xG per 90 or an expected goal every 4 & a third full 90's. His expected assists per 90 in the Championship is 0.13 per 90 or an expected assists every 7 and a half full 90's, mostly to a colleague's feet. That bit of his game has shown a steady decline since 2017/18.

Injury record aside, I woukdnt be averse to him. If we can swap him for someone, even better

Weimann in doesn't mean Powell out guys come on.
Just because he can play at 10 doesn't automatically confirm he's a Powell replacement.
I'd be content if we sign Weimann and manage to lump Vokes on them or someone else.
Although it's not an inspiring first rumour part of me thinks it could be an Odemwingie situation where he surprises most.

Doesn't really fire the imagination though does it. Maybe not but who would that's in our price range? Unfortunately the days of 'rock the city' signings are gone.

Thirty when the season starts. Post ACL. One goal every 8 or 9 games. We should avoid him like the plague. Lazy scouting. 21 goals in 96 for Bristol City (& most of those game not as a striker) lazy posting So his best return is one in 5. His career starts are one in 8/9. Hes 30 coming off a bad injury. Yep brilliant signing.

I'm just nostalgic for the days when we were acquiring players like Luke Chadwick and Lee Hendrie.

Pearson has said: “Eleven released, Sess (Steven Sessegnon) going back to Fulham is 12; Andi Weimann and Danny Simpson, hopefully we’ll secure them in the next week or so … but it could be 14 gone.

I very much doubt O’Neill would want to sell him to be perfectly honest. Why would he get the blame if the higher ups demand a sale?

Powell was our best player in a very underwhelming squad of players!!! If changes need to be made to make the team, as a whole, BETTER, then we can't allow one individual to stand in the way!!! Besides, I doubt very much that O'Neil would want to lose one of his better players either, so if Powell was to go, I pretty much doubt it'll be down to O'Neil!!!

No doubt our best player and pots last season but I just don't know where he plays in MONs favoured 433. Strangely if an offer comes in for him and it was good money I'd prefer him to go than Collins or Souttar.

No way on earth either of them could match his current salary, better any salary we could offer next summer, offer us a fee to even give us a decision to make, or really benefit him football-wise.
And Stoke is perfect for him geographically.
Can't see that going anywhere if there is interest from those 2
