Bit of a long shot but does anyone know what the plan is with the Escape Lounges at Manchester Airport ? On their web site it says currently closed but it’s still letting you book for future dates...fine but what date in the future will they reopen ? We travel on 25th June. I’ve tried calling the airport but they ain’t taking phone calls due to Covid which is mental...only e mails...e mail sent but you’ve guessed it no reply. I don’t want to spend £100+ and then have to spend weeks pissing about trying to reclaim it...any help appreciated.

Am travelling in july (hopefully)and asked re The Emirates Lounge. was told by the end of July it should be open if not before as is my flight date. Is the Escape lounge the one that doesn't allow kids? i might try myself if Emirates still not open but looks promising on that front. hopefully you might be lucky a month from now

Is the Escape lounge the one that doesn't allow kids? The Escape Lounge is the one that requires you to successfully complete a series of Crystal Maze-style tasks before you're let out and allowed to board your flight.

I did my customary coming off at the wrong junction today and ended up at T1, the place is absolutely empty.

I’ll just keep checking the web site...it’s a bargain at about £20 each...reserved seating...can charge your phone...limitless food and ale including spirits 🍻. At airport prices I can get through £20 of ale no problem...so can my wife 🍻☀️😎

Got to pop to Dublin as soon as can so will keep an eye out. Shame about kids being allowed in- surely the airport should has some kind of holding cage for them
