When we lose the final match our 3 Championship seasons will go...
2018/19 55 Points Rowett/Jones 2019/20 56 Points Jones/O'Neill 2020/21 57 Points O'Neill
Average points needed for 2nd pace and automatic promotion is 86 so at this rate we can celebrate promotion in 2050!

Rowett and Jones both spend millions and millions, very, VERY badly! We are nowhere near we'd like to be, but we have improved from last season and I do believe as soon as the deadwood begins to drift off, we will bring in players we need and we will improve further more. O'Neill has had his arms tied behind his back, and although it does feel like we have gone backwards somewhat, I have faith

O'Neill has had his arms tied behind his back, and although it does feel like we have gone backwards somewhat, I have faith £62m spent by 2 managers in 2018/19 for 55 points. Complete negligence and has set us back another 3/4 seasons minimum. But let’s sacrifice stability for another roll of the dice....

Clear signs of progression and still people moan. Not so sure we are still progressing. After irst 23 games of 20/21 we were one place off the play offs. Our form over the second half of the season has us one place/one point above the bottom three. Very worrying

Our form since December has been extremely worrying and I have little faith our start to next season will be any better, unless we manage to sign a couple of gems in the loan market.

Can't see how we have progressed from MON's second half of the season, the whole season marginally. I'm for him getting to start next season, but the way we are trying to play football is uninspiring to watch, the constant banging of aimless balls into the box, with noone there capable of netting.the seeming unwillingness to try something else when you know that doesn't work.

Very worrying Some Managers seem to have either a better first, or improved second half of the season, and are either or. Mark Hughes for example used to claim that his teams were stronger in the second half of the season. Maybe we need a rotating system of Managers and give them half a season each on the basis of their apparent performance record. If we know that MON is likely to produce similar results next season, we could then have a stand by improvement ready to step in after Christmas!

My Mistress reckons we need a straight man to play alongside the comedy genius that is Sam Vokes. Once we get the partnership up and running, we wait until Sam makes an hilarious mistake like an air shot, and whilst the opposition defence are rolling around on the ground in fits of uncontrollable laughter and the keeper is crying hysterically into the goal post, our guy nips in to put the ball into the net.

By comparison, our league finishes at this level the last time we were relegated in 1985.
1985/86 10th 57pts (42 games) 1986/87 8th 58pts (42 games) 1987/88 11th 62pts (44 games) 1988/89 13th 59pts (46 games) 1989/90 24th 37pts (46 games)

Mistress as in bit on the side or is she a dominatrix? 🤔 Either way I'll be so disappointed if that's just a predictive text malfunction 😁

Goonie, I am old fashioned, so I refer to my women as mistresses rather than partners or girlfriends. I work in the Antiques world and if having a mistress was acceptable to the Georgians and Victorians then it's good enough for me. I might try to train one as a dominatrix though.

Clear signs of progression and still people moan. We are regressing at an increasing rate. Our form for well over half a season is that preparing for relegation.
