Fair play. 14 years at same price. Away coach travel still available for free if wanted again. No complaints. Though I’m sure some ungrateful c***’s will find something to moan about ! I'll start is free away travel just for season ticket holders

If there is a 10K limit and we sell 15/20K season tickets how is that going to work ? Quite correctly social distancing will apply. I would hope that I will be able to sit next to my partner with whom I live and sleep with.? Sorting out the permeations of that must be a nightmare. Optimistically looking foreword to it but I fear there may be some logistical problems. Hope I am wrong. Not supposed to be a limit after 21 June however it's still not clear what the government's intent is

I can't remember where I read/heard it but Scholes mentioned they were looking at a number of options should that be the case and mentioned possibly a first come first served basis on this years ST's as one of those options.

Boris hinted that the complete easing may not happen in end of June so i think complete or partial opening of grounds will be put back, so don't get to excited remember your money is safe in the hands of Stoke

Has anybody else had trouble renewing online? Every time I try it says try later, then my card isn't linked, even though it is when I check my details. This is getting rather frustrating!

They have laid out the stepping stones and been clear about what we can do and when but have also clearly said that caution is vital and they will not hesitate to change the plans should data indicate a rise that suggests a delay is necessary.

I know. Pissed me off today when I watched the news and some wedding planner was moaning in case after 21st of June restrictions aren’t lifted and she’s taken bookings for over 50 people 🙄

But but but the football, Covid, the owners, Scholes, O’Neill is a dinosaur, we’ll be lucky to get 14,000...... Very very impressive is that, fair play to everyone who has purchased and for those who haven’t if you’re fit and financially able get renewing and let’s try and fill the Bet365.......

After a lot of careful consideration, and still some unease, I renewed my (2) tickets yesterday.
Decided to do it by phone and maybe I was lucky but it only took about 10 mins inc waiting in the queue 😀⚓️

The best part of this is the uptake from younger supporters. It's why i've been banging the drum about fanzones etc.
Recently there was a foodie event at Goose Street in Newcastle over the bank holiday weekend, that was the kind of thing we should be aiming for from a fanzone. Loads of different food stalls and craft beers/ales/lagers. I wandered past a few times over the weekend and it looked like it was doing a good trade, so the uptake in younger fans coupled with something like that should improve things. There is definitely a market for it.
Combine that with more stuff for the very young kids and you'd be on to a huge winner IMO.
The younger fans will be harder to keep when the football takes a hit, as it always will with clubs like us from time to time, so pushing the social aspect - especially post covid, could bring people back time and again.

It beggars belief that the club don't recognise both the commercial and engagement opportunity offered by creating a fan zone. It wouldn't cost the earth and would be relatively simple to stage given the local resources that they could call on - get local brewers/tap rooms such as BottleCraft & Ten Green Bottles etc to provide on-site bars, team up with The Sugarmill to host a stage featuring local bands/djs, on-board local food businesses like The Corner, Slamwich Club, Klay and North to provide food and bob's yer auntie's live-in lover. I could probably organise all this myself with a little bit of effort, so it's all the more galling that the club seems so resistant to the idea. Smacks of 'can't be arsed-ness'. Interestingly, read about this that Super League club Hull KR are doing from this season: www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/hull-kr-matchday-fan-zone-5154727 It's especially interesting because (a) you'd think that their crowds are much lower than SCFC's but yet having a fan zone is still obviously commercially viable for them, and (b) the current CEO of Hull KR is former Stoke City Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Lakin.

Too right prestwich would be great to get that atmosphere back that we used to be known for, im convinced it gives the players an extra ten percent aswell.

How many are sold roughly? We don't know for sure as the club stopped releasing the figures many years ago - no idea why it need to remain a secret - However it seems we sold something less than 20000 last season but probably more than 15000 & appear to be on track to sell more than 20000 this summer Given we have finished bottom half since relegation (would suggest most supporters would see our 'natural' place as no lower than 10th in the Championship) it's fair to assume people are simply keen to watch some live football & support their team which is testament to this being a 'football area' Goes to show there is support out there for this club - if we can get success on the pitch continue to price st's competitively (& ideally match day tickets as well) + get the non football stuff right (somethings we do e.g. free away travel, lots we don't) e.g. fans zone as flagged on this thread there's no reason why we could get significantly higher crowds than we have done Equally if we don't get success on the pitch in the next few seasons & get more things wrong off the pitch then crowds will inevitably dwindle

First time I years I haven't renewed, new house which needs a shit load of time and effort and I'm sure my hubby will be well chuffed if I bog off to watch stoke whilst he babysits and is stuck doing DIY. Anyone know what happens to the 50 odd quid I have in the credit for 2019. Can I only get it back through credit note, club shop etc

For the first time in over thirty years I've been pondering since the end of the season whether to renew my season ticket or not. I really hate all the money and politics that has escalated in the game and the football last season in my opinion was pretty awful in the main and I honestly can't see there will be much improvement in the near future. My wife was telling me what other things I could do with my money and time and to be honest I was very very tempted. However, at 11.46pm last night I pressed the 'pay' button and here I am ready for whatever will happen in 2021/22. Go on you Might Potters !!!!!!

I'm the same, I could not match client ref with account at all, even though all the details were correct, I'm pretty tech savy too. It's just a dreadful system. Spent about 2 mins on phone to renew.

Yeah I had the same problem. Don't know whether it's because I have one of the ancient 5 digit customer reference numbers and the newer ones seem to be something like 12 digits. Was a very clunky and cumbersome system and I couldn't find my gift card with my refund credit on so I ended up going to the ground to do it. The system seemed very shit compared to what you'd expect these days.

I read the stories on here so just avoided it tbh. But again we come back to being a modern club that should want to take your money easily.... But the service calling up was excellent. Took 2 minutes and a minute of that was me updating my address.
