Michael O'Neill said at the Meet the Board event that with his contacts in both countries and Covid restrictions Stoke were looking at pre-season games in either of these countries. The Sentinel said in two to three weeks we will know when an where they are playing. Can't wait - as long as we can go I'll be there. Not seen Stoke in Northern Ireland so that is my preference.

UTP Cotswold Indeed , As said elsewhere , seen us in NI v Linfield in the early 80s ( and in Eire under Lou ) 80’s , very different times back then, trip not for the feint hearted , just 2 of us went , could write a whole chapter around that trip .40 years later still very high on my list of best ever trips with Stoke ..but leave the politics at home folks eh Heres hoping Scotland , unlikely , but I hope we play East Fife ( we’ve played them once in a testimonial in the 70s ) had them as a subbuteo team so always had a soft spot for them ..visit to their ground ended in failure when having got there , the game was called off due to a frozen pitch

Little gentle warm up against Arbroath, followed by St Johnstone and then Aberdeen. The perfect summer break to the North East of Scotland......

Best ground name ever That’s a good one - I hope if it’s Scotland we might make a visit to the Tony Macaroni Arena though ! Livingston’s wonderfully named pile of Lego bricks in the middle of a retail park.

Little gentle warm up against Arbroath, followed by St Johnstone and then Aberdeen. The perfect summer break to the North East of Scotland...... You could add in Brechin City, who MON has managed in the past. We've also had a pre-season friendly there back in the late 80's/early 90's. And the two Dundee clubs; we've had a friendly with D Utd in the past as well.

Always wanted to go and watch Hamilton Academical, and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, purely on a name basis.
If the club is reading, please take note.

For absolutely no reason I've always wanted to go to Alloa. A Kilmarnock fan once told me it's as rough as a badgers arse mind.

We should turn back the clock to the mid 80’s and return to the Isle of Man trophy (if it still exists)

Haven't Dundee been mentioned yet Some of our more lively lads had or have connections with Dundee I believe.... Also chance to say hello to the most mistakenly spelt Stoke City player on the Forum in recent years....Charlie Adams

For absolutely no reason I've always wanted to go to Alloa. A Kilmarnock fan once told me it's as rough as a badgers arse mind. Thats rich coming from a Killie fan. Ive worked there and Kilmarnock is a proper rough place, so much so a friend of mine said the town centre is to be avoided after dark. I never did venture there either. I do however recommend the Killie pie as its fantastic.

Ive never been to Montrose, so a trip to Links Park would be good. Either that or the new Falkirk stadium as the main stand always looks amazing when you drive past it.
There are some proper quirky stadiums in scotland thats for sure.
Starks Park ( with its quirky corner and 80% capacity in the stands behind the goals) Glebe Park (as mentioned MONs old stomping ground, set in a lovely park area with a hedge down one side) Somerset Park (a throw back to old standing terraces) Central Park (football and banger racing stadium)
The Dundee grounds need to be seen to be believed, as they are only a few yards apart from each other.
Could be some good trips if we get the go ahead.

Been passed Arbroath's ground recently looks an interesting one.....

Was in Genoa in 1990 and Dundee fans were a good bunch (As were The Brazilian ladies) , they were playing each other that week and Ireland were playing Romania so a few beers and decided to go and see them play when in town years later. Literally over the road the grounds. I think why have no animosity with Scots re footie as a young 19 year old they plied us with drink at the WC and was a 2 day long party. Always liked Brazil after that night but not going into that
