Let’s be honest - we haven’t been treated to many great games since Christmas but most like myself would always fork a tenner out to watch our beloved Potters. After many frustrating games I’ve said that’s the last time I’m paying a tenner watch that but then always end up buying it. But I really am done for this season now. It really isn’t worth it, the ‘football’ is horrendous, radio joke is poor and 99% of the away commentary we have to listen to is even worse! Love Stoke and can’t wait get back to the games home and away but I just can’t sit and watch these streams anymore. We’ll probably bag 5 now Roll on August

Both teams have strikers out injured so it’s looking like a 0-0 . But I’ll watch it if Norton is given a good chance

It just feels like there's no purpose to games without the added intensity of supporters. I'll watch it but fully expect to be asleep by the half hour mark. We need a performance even more than a win. Its just bloody dreadful to watch at the moment. Reflective of the state of the nation!

I will, as usual, be watching because ultimately I am an eternal, incurable optimist when it comes to Stoke City.
The only time I become a pessimist is for the 90+ minutes of a game.

Not watched for a while. Game without supporters is a bit shit. The longer it goes on the more I can't be arsed.

I’ve not watched the past 6, just majorly pessimistic and can’t wait for next season.
Felt this way since Campbell got injured and MON started playing 11 behind the ball....and also thinking Vokes is an effective sub. Every game. Can’t be arsed with this season anymore.

The strange thing about Stoke is that as far as I can recall about 17 out of any 20 games tend to be unmemorable crap. Then just occasionally, and usually when you are least expecting it, they throw in a game like the 5-0 v Arsenal, the 6-1 v Liverpool or the 4-4 v Luton. And those are the games that we remember, and why we keep on watching. 60 years and counting, including some unbelievable crap, and its always been the same.

That is what "supporters" do, support through thick and thin ,not jump ship when it gets choppy or you get stuck in the "Doldrums",60 + years for me also.

The galling thing is amongst all the crap you get periods that prove it’s all so unnecessary Lou Mk1, Hughes before it all went tits up, even Pulis for a very short spell before the cup final. When you’re buzzing with anticipation before every game and no matter who you’re up against feel there’s a really good chance of a Stoke win and an exciting game. The rest of the time you’re almost torturing yourself either turning up or watching. Maybe it is like that for the fans of most other clubs too. Maybe I take it too personally that our football is boring as shit on such a consistent basis. I won’t be watching in fact every time I have watched this season has left me in no hurry to watch another game of football again, I’ve found the games that mind numbingly boring.

It shows how important the ‘experience’ is, and that we don’t go (well, certainly speaking for myself anyway) purely for the game itself. Watching at home on your own with a game played in a soulless stadium is just a bit shit, even when the game itself is decent.

Besides the football not being horrendous, I'd perhaps agree with disappointing,I have seen my side concede nine goals in one game and play what is three times worse than what they are doing now but at no time has my devotion ever been tested. When you love someone or something you never make the decisions you are.

I won’t stop watching for the season, but I’m giving this one a miss as I prefer to watch the T20 cricket. And the All England Badminton Championships are worth a watch, too.

I'm not saying we are thrill a minute, but the reality of Championship football is that it is a slog for most clubs. I'm struggling to think of many teams we have played (barring the top two or three) that actually play entertaining football. We can be better (we should be better) but this is the level we are at for now.

It’s not like we come across many teams that you find yourself envious of their style of play, attacking threat, flair. It’s a pretty dull league for anyone who wants to see exciting games with lots of quality on the ball. The top few teams aren’t even very good to be honest.
