You do realise Powell was taken off because he is injured? What subs did we have last night who would have changed anything? So BOTH changes were forced and not tactical? That in itself proves a point... Our plan A is shit and he hasn't got a plan B. How much worse could Norton have been than an option to replace Brown, Mikel or Allen... Or even to replace Powell instead of bringing another defensive player on to invite pressure? They are just kids. How many times have you seen Norton play? All this talk about plan A and B is just a cliche . This season has been killed off by injuries, no more or less.

Rowett , Jones , MON , it just seems a different manager same shit , it’s like Groundhog Day The players don’t respect the management. Probably because half of them have got one eye on retirement. Professional footballers will also be able to see how limited mon is. Vicious circle.

We have a full day's available other than 1 player who was in the wilderness just over 12 months ago, we then don't replace him and let another go out on loan.

Yes, he could be worse. It’s senior men’s football, not Jossies Giants. I take it you’ve forgotten that last seasons leading scorer and last seasons player of the year are injured as well? Gregory is crap, he’s just an honest plodder like Brown.

McLean is a rotation player, he's not a guaranteed starter like campbell. Remind me again how Campbell has struggled finding his feet in the men's game. Or Rashford? Greenwood? Foden? It seems to be a stoke mentality regarding youngsters, if he's good enough to be on the bench then he's good enough to get game time

Comparing Norton to Foden is pretty much the silliest thing I’ve read on here.

Nothing to do with the fact that we have a limited squad. I don't think we do, we've got a squad that should (on paper) be able to Compete for the play offs. We have seen that this season, but its the starting line up, formation, and in game tactics/subs that are killing us in my opinion. We were on top last night for a portion of the game and instead of rolling the dice, he did nothing but retreated. How can we as fans see that Our midfield was knackered and being overrun but he couldn't. At what point of this season have we actually seen that we are able to actually force our way into the play off places? We were good earlier in the season because we counter attacked well (mostly down to Campbell) and looked solid. MON clearly wants us to be able to dominate games build from the back and play through the thirds and at times we have seen that. But you can see that we don’t have the midfield to properly build through the thirds so we play out from Gunn to the defenders then and look for second balls from Fletcher’s knock downs. We are shifting towards a style but it does take time and does take a certain type of player.

First twenty minutes of today's game? Same again second half? Most of the previous home game? All equate to 0 points. Points aren't awarded for 'twenty minutes of the first half'...... indeed not however teh question asked was when was last time we played on front for & the answer was the game they had just watched

When I have things to be positive about I will. I want him to see where he is going wrong and change it. I want us to go back to where we were at the back end of last season and the early part of this season

Yes, it was in parts and that makes it more frustrating as we could have really pressured them, the win was there for us. Good 20 minutes here or there won't push us forward

Good 20 minutes here or there won't push us forward We played well for 45 minutes at Brentford prior to last night also(not good enough I know) but last night for the majority of that game I thought we were the only winners and this against a team that could be in the prem next season. Its all about fine margins in this league and at the minute we’re falling the wrong side of them far too often.Changing O’Neill now would be the biggest mistake the club could make for many a year,we need stability at all costs

And probably one of the best players in the world - Foden is undoubtedly world class already. But how did they find that out? Because the lad was playing with England at under-17 world cup which they won and he was head and shoulders above everyone else at the tournament. Its not rocket science mate that the elite players force there way in to be considered a starter but comparing Norton to Foden is like comparing a Corsa to an F1 car. And Foden btw, has had to wait at man city for his opportunity to play. He was good enough to be a squad player 2 years ago but they protected him which is also a massive part of developing young lads. You don’t just stick a young lad in and assume that he is ready, he might be close but you have the think of the wider implications of playing someone before they are ready, look at Tymon the lad was broken for 3 years because of his mismanagement. Being apart of the first team environment; training with, being on the bench, experiencing a first team match day is all apart of the development.

They changed their shape as we were dominating possession and on the front foot second half, for 10 minutes they took over the midfield with the extra man they had hence why Thompson came on. He could have done it earlier but I think it was the right call, he arguably should have brought Cousins on for Allen or Mikel at the same time. But you have to also acknowledge that Swansea are a good footballing team, better than us currently and were pressing for a win, sometimes in football you don't choose to sit back you just have to..... I don’t think Swansea were that good to be honest. They had a good few players and a cheating got. I wasn’t that impressed with em

I 100% agree that there are fine margins in this league but we seem a able to push us over the line the right way, instead we are happier to try our hardest to stay on the line so that we don't fall the wrong side and that's got to change. I don't think any fan expected us to push for the play offs this season, BUT... We nearly did, we had the chance to go top a few months ago and now we are looking like a really poor team.
