Can we get Mario Balotelli (now at Monza) .... apparently worth $3m now .... Love to see him and Fletcher as a dual strike unit ..... We've just got rid of most of players of his type.

Tyler Roberts from Leeds? Don't think he's getting a look in for them, and he's in their U23 team facing us today.

.... haven’t we only got two quid to bid at the moment? I think we've bid £1.50p This inclusion of small change to pay the bus fare of the new signing can be important. Didn't Arsenal, in the last few months of Wenger, offer something like "£30 million and one pound" for somebody, to ensure that they technically passed the release clause trigger point?

Is there anyone in our under 23's good enough to step up to the first team? A ridiculous thought just entered my head as regards FFP. Forget the Clubs who sell themselves their ground to bypass restrictions, or whatever the arrangement is. We could set up two wage structures or companies within the Club, for First team players, and other staff. Each group would have different arrangements, asset listings and so on. Imagine it as something like an employment agency, with the younger academy group lending people out on short term contracts or whatever. Once an Academy player is deemed good enough to move up to the first team squad we could sell him from one "company" or the Agency, to another at a bargain price. To fill a space in the reserves we then sell a former first choice player back to the Reserves at a commercial rate, without the main group taking a financial hit by selling off an asset at a reduced price. We get around FFP and everyone is happy. Silly, but with refinement I feel that it could be a cunning plan, and might be worth investigating.

Yes it was Luis Suarez, think it was 40m and one pound

Think the auditors would have a field day telling us about related party transactions and arms length deals with this. Would be nice if accounting worked this way though haha

The boy (well, old man now) can finish though. Given the striking outlook (grim) and pending landing "a wonderkid from a club not too far away", I'd press the button I think.

I would defo take Murray on a loan 37 and not played all season. How long would it take for him to get up to scratch, if there's even anything of him left.

I would defo take Murray on a loan I'd rather bring him off the bench than Vokes. BUT suppose it would be reasonably costly in terms of wages and you never know when players are on the turn.... then go off. He did great in 18/19 - and hasn't done much since- and is 38 this year. I know you can look at Zlatan and Teddy Sheringham, but it's rare to still be productive at that age. Maybe he's just gone? With Gregory coming back, maybe he's not enough of a sure thing to press the button on? Tricky one though
