Is frustrating because we are so much better than we are showing. Injuries aren't helping, but we can't blame that because we were poor to watch when we had a full squad Yeah fancy that.... we could be better than we are, I’m sure other than the team at the top, that’s the general sentiment of all teams and fans. we could have been better than we were too under Jones and Rowett..... oh and remember that fella Lambert? But we aren’t and haven’t been better than anything in a long while. This is where we are at. Shall we deal with it and come to terms with our emotions? This is the kinda footy that got us out of this league but those three 9th prem finishes (!!!yay!!) has obviously subsequently spoilt all you mard arses into now weeping into your pinacoladas while you whine and complain like little children even when we end up getting 3 points on the board..... 🤔 If, for you to be able to endorse your ‘support’ of ‘your’ ‘team’ means you need an eyegasm to do so then you need to shut the frock up for a bit and let some nitty gritty supporters help our team and manager that are finally giving it a good go. But don’t worry - We’ll give you all a heads up when you can come back to ‘supporting’ that loverly silky footy to watch. Please get over yourselves 🤦🏻♂️ Sorry, I take it all back, please accept my apologies O Mighty One

You really are a top class argumentative prick That may be so... I’m sure we’ll all savour your valuable input into how we should support our team as a collective.. anyways... I’m happy that I at least hit a nerve, I’ve tried to relate it to something such as football on a stoke opinion related forum, but I guess your point is so much more wholesome and valid ! - merry Christmas! 😘 The irony of you saying that someone shouldn't point out "how we should support our team as a collective" while trying to ridicule every opinion that's not the same as yours is beautiful, it really is

Fucking awful anti football as bad as anything we were subject to under TP the only plus point is we scraped a win. Gouranga. Blackburn fans want Mowbray gone as they are sick of watching possession based tipy tapy shite. They are the second highest Scorers in the Championship and we reduced them to a couple of shots on target. Mowbray has been at Blackburn 4 years and spent £15 million.O'neil has been at Stoke 13 months and spent £2 million,he inherited a team that was doomed for relegation and has done a remarkable job to get us near a play off spot. If you think that was as bad as anything TP served up then you obviously don't do away games. We lost to Norwich in a 5 goal ,"Thriller" recently and I felt a whole lot better winning after 93 minutes of "Anti Football" than I did watching a tight entertaining loss and I think most fans will feel the same.Give the man some time and I think he will ultimately produce a team we will all enjoy watching.

The big concern is we start losing and playing like this Then you’ll see moaning 😂 So you’re saying that your concern and justification for moaning is because we might end up loosing, but then it’s ok and good because at least the you’ll be in the majority of moaners? Or are your words to suggest that every fan should come to this boards solely to moan?? Great support right there Zerps 👏🏼 !! Losing. I’ll moan if I want to. I didn’t enjoy watching that yesterday, I think we could easily start losing playing like this, then we’ll have a big problem. Being able to defend is great but it isn’t all we should do. I couldn’t give a fuck what anyone else does. It’s an internet message board for people to air their opinions. Not North Korea.

I don’t disagree it has been mainly shit all season but to be fair I am critical of Stoke because I want them to do well. I do think MON is a negative manager although we have our hands tied in the transfer market. Defensively will have really improved though A negative manager. Hmmmmm. Negativity that saw Northern Ireland overachieve and qualify for tournaments they had no right to? Negativity that saved us from virtually certain relegation and now has us in a very healthy league position despite an injury list longer than Peter Crouch’s Christmas stocking. Negative my arse. Now I’m not saying I don’t like mon he’s done a great job so far and if you look at my post I did say he has had his hands tied re transfers so that will not help but he is a negative manager. I liked Pulis and he was negative and enjoyed those years until the last year so I’m not slating mon I’m saying he’s negative. Northern Ireland where negative as they played to there strengths. They may have done well but it wasn’t through expansive football though.

we are a team that are taking points with basically half of our best players out, just think where we could be if we had everyone fit, the lads that have come in have done a great job keeping us in the hunt, the league is full of avarage teams and i include Norwich and Bournemouth in that, 1 good goalscorer in in january and getting all our players back i think we have as good a chance as anyone,to get a top 6 finnish.then its a lottery,

Has someone laced your mince pies with PCP, what in the name of sanity are you jabbering on about? 😆 All the Anti-Christmas heroes in one. The Home Alone robbers. Scrooge. Ze German in Die Hard. That’s you that is. You big green Grinch. Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way. Oh what fun it is to see City win 1-0 Fair enough, went over my head initially! I'm awaiting the outcome of a COVID test as feeling ropey so bear with me 😔

Speak for yourself fella. We we're playing Blackburn at home in the 2nd flight. We're not Wycombe, now they are underdogs 🤦♀️ No wonder as a club or city we never amount to anything with forelock-tugging bollocks like that. Yeah, just because we are on the fringe of the playoffs despite half a starting XI's worth of injuries, that's no excuse. If we aren't playing like Brazil 1970 next match I shall be writing a strongly worded letter to my MP about all this. O'Neill out!!1! That's not what the post I quoted was getting at though. It seemed to suggest we should be underdogs to Blackburn in the 2nd division, which is palpably bollocks.

Imagine having 33 points from 20 games and 2 senior goalkeepers out for weeks, blooding loads of youngsters, our best midfielder missing since March 7th and still so called fans moan their bag off🙄very sad indeed I think some people have become conditioned to moaning. It’s their default setting. Or conditioned to watching turgid football (and there have been rich pickings on that front down the years). I swear some Stoke fans didn't know how to deal with Bojan, Arnie and Shaq weaving triangles around Man City and much prefered the comfort blanket of a Dean Whitehead punt down field. I wonder if there are any other club's fans who revel in their club being a byword for anti-football and take pleasure in their team shithousing? I just find the whole attitude odd and lacking in any ambition.

Yesterday was great but not sustainable long term and of course MON will realise that.
You know full well that if Blackburn had scored in the 2nd half the pattern of the game would have continued and we would have been defending the point.
Nothing wrong with protecting a lead but you really have to give the opposition the worry of being done on the break if they over commit. That was never happening though especially once Vokes was on,perfectly highlighted by their keeper being allowed to practically come to the half way line unchallenged.
Add to that we need to stop surrendering possession so cheaply.Hopefully Mikel coming back will help.
It worked a treat yesterday, other times it wont.
The manager is great though and from rock bottom to 7th in 12 months speaks for itself and is nothing short of miraculous bearing in mind what he has had to put up with.

Personally I don't give a flying fuck what Blackburn fans want or how much money they've spent. I went to quite a few away games under TP. I hate stoke losing to anyone but that wasn't the point of my post, I'm really happy that we won but the performance was dog shit and the game was as I said awful anti-football. I'm happy for MON to be given time I've never said otherwise, I just don't want to have to sit and watch that dire excuse for football every week. Gouranga.

When the fuck did some of us become whiney Arsenal fans over our ‘style’ of play?
MON’s first 46 games after he inherited a wank squad that was absolutely heading for the third tier:
73 points 71 goals 46% win rate
Currently outside the playoffs on goal difference despite a depleted squad.
Keep it up MON, you’re doing a brilliant job.
