Utter rubbish,it was the way to beat a free scoring Blackburn end of and considering the amount of injuries it’s incredible in my opinion I take it you didn't watch the game. Gouranga. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif) I did they had about 2 chances all game and we could still be playing now it would still be 1-0

Switched on for 90mins, no rolling over and getting our tummies tickled - who is this team. All we need now is somebody who can launch a throw-in into the penalty area and I will be back in seventh heaven again ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/KYqg3pYeaerc5lD_P7BR.gif) That said we can't sustain those stats every week, hard to see where our goals are coming from with Campbell out - we will get beat by the better teams. Long 2nd half of the season ahead with all the injuries, but the lads look up for the fight - we need some quality in the window if at all possible

It was devoid of any entertainment from a Stoke supporters point of view. Dreadful ant-football. Gouranga. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/ibnJJzaA6ZhfTOIekEAf.gif) Some people will lap up any old shite. No ambition. The city of Stoke in a microcosm really. Well, if your ambition is to play nice football, you may end up in the divisions below us. If you have ambition and want promotion, you play the way you can or need to to win games, because winning games, ugly or nice, gets points to get you promoted. Blackburn allegedly played the better football, but they lost.

11 clean sheets from 20 league outings so far this season - yet a massive but much underated part of the game by many! A goal from Souttar would have been applauded, yet that goal saving toe end tackle to push the ball out for a corner goes almost unnoticed. Great cross from Fox for Powell to score a super goal .......... ................ AND GREAT DISCIPLINE FROM THE LADS TO KEEP A CLEAN SHEET ![(bravo)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/aX_EnhrKOKv0Zc_aN8eF.gif)

I prefer to watch a Stoke side trying to attack and put a couple of passes together especially at home. It was dreadful to watch. The Blackburn keeper spent most of the 2nd half on the half way line that's how threatening we were. Gouranga. Are you not listening to anyone our squad is riddled with injuries It was the same (bar 1 or 2 games) before we had all of the injuries, it's shit to watch

We have the return fixture with Blackburn in just 4 weeks time. And we will probably find a different way to beat them. I have every faith in O'Neill.

Come on you rip roaring potters and when we are back in the ground that will be the 12 man again Speak for yourself fella. We we're playing Blackburn at home in the 2nd flight. We're not Wycombe, now they are underdogs 🤦♀️ No wonder as a club or city we never amount to anything with forelock-tugging bollocks like that.

Jeez, life's too short to wallow in this sort of opinion. I think I've had enough Oatcake for one day, as if there weren't enough things queuing up to bring you down in this world. We won, that's all I want to take away from today. Well, that and the fact that Vale threw away a two goal lead to lose, Birmingham City lost and Cov lost, which is pretty much a perfect football day in my book. Don’t worry thevoid will be off depriving Tiny Tim of his Christmas dinner soon after he finishes trying to rob Kevin’s house and push Bruce Willis off a skyscraper. Ho Ho Ho!! Has someone laced your mince pies with PCP, what in the name of sanity are you jabbering on about? 😆

That approach might work in a maiden Premier League season, or if you're Wycombe or Rotherham in this division. Hell, if we play like that against Tottenham I'll be over the moon. Before anyone mentions injuries, we were playing dull, negative football before they started mounting up.

We have to weather the storm and keep picking up ugly points so we are still in contention when we have players back from injury. That said we are never going to be very exciting without Campbell. It’s unlikely, we’ll replace him in January; the best we can hope for is someone better than Brown or Ince to get the ball into Fletcher. Apparently, the manager doesn’t fancy Verlinden.

It just frustrates me when the opposition don’t have to tackle to win the ball ..we just give it straight back after 2 passes at the most ....god knows how many times brown gave the ball away ...we know what we have with MON ...never going to be the most fluent of teams but holding on to the ball a bit longer and not chasing as much can only benefit the defensive side of our team .....UTMP

I feel a lot better after that than I did after the Cardiff game. Without that careless defeat we would be 4th today, and Cardiff in 14th place. It still rankles now.

Yeah, just because we are on the fringe of the playoffs despite half a starting XI's worth of injuries, that's no excuse. If we aren't playing like Brazil 1970 next match I shall be writing a strongly worded letter to my MP about all this. O'Neill out!!1!

With Clucas, Mikkel, allen, campbell out I'll take those performances all day long.
Fletcher is also unfit.
This league is all about grinding out 1-0 results especially this season.

It’s almost as if some people have forgotten just how bad we we were, and had been for 2 to 3 years before MON arrived. Now we have turned it around, it’s now not good enough. Hard to think what some fans want and expect if they can’t take any joy in the last 12 months as a whole. I would call them knobs but it’s Christmas so I’ll stick with labelling them as fucking stupid dickheads.

You can’t fault a clean sheet but have we got enough attacking ambitions?

3 shots for to 15 against at home. We got battered in to next week but bravely held out! Which is bollocks. Our keeper had one meaningful save to make. They were pretty toothless

Are you not listening to anyone our squad is riddled with injuries It was the same (bar 1 or 2 games) before we had all of the injuries, it's shit to watch I don’t disagree it has been mainly shit all season but to be fair I am critical of Stoke because I want them to do well. I do think MON is a negative manager although we have our hands tied in the transfer market. Defensively will have really improved though

Negativity that saw Northern Ireland overachieve and qualify for tournaments they had no right to? Negativity that saved us from virtually certain relegation and now has us in a very healthy league position despite an injury list longer than Peter Crouch’s Christmas stocking. Negative my arse.
