Why do they have him on commentary at Liverpool games. How was that not a pen took his foot away. You just know if it was the other way it would have been a totally different story. Watching Arse v Burnley and hearing the droning tones of Alan Smith who always commentates on the Arsenal games. So not sure what your point is really.

I agree,Neville is a man Utd fan so always backs them no matter what, carragher is a Everton fan so its easier for him to be impartial Not sure Carragher is an Everton fan anymore tbh. He was a die hard until he broke through at Liverpool but he'd consider himself a Red now I think. Think him and Neville generally try to be as impartial as they can be, even if they don't always quite manage it. I'm sure he is I've seen him talking about going Everton with his dad on sky sports before , and he was doing an Everton commentary game with martin Tyler might of been the the derby and Martin introduced him as life long Everton fan and long time liverpool player, suppose that will change when liverpool are playing.

Yeah pre-Liverpool and early stages Liverpool he was a huge Everton fan. Now he and his dad are big Reds. He says so in his own book and in his Ring of Fire interview with Simon Hughes.

Yep defo has no feelings for Everton now. In his book he confirmed it was when all his mates in his local took the piss out of him over a late loss at Man Utd, that he went from blue to red. Think Steve Mcmanaman is still an Everton fan Don't mind Carra, myself. Never found him overly biased
