Why do they have him on commentary at Liverpool games.
How was that not a pen took his foot away. You just know if it was the other way it would have been a totally different story.

He calls it as it is on a regular basis and criticises Liverpool as he sees fit just as he is now ....it wasn’t a penalty

They keep amending the rules but if the ref had given it i do not think it would have overturned. I think it was a penalty but it took several checks in which case shows not an obvious error and how hard they are to spot. Like the Derby appeal it could have gone either way.
Carragher at least is not appealing that Fulham goal be ruled out but a grating voice and a scouse accent are not pleasant on the ears.

He's always fair whenever I hear him do commentary on Liverpool games, even more so that Neville when does Man Utd games I would say.....

I am not a fan of Carragher and like any normal Stoke fan I cannot stand Liverpool, but no way was that a penalty for me. Interesting though how we can all see exactly the same incident and have different opinions.  |

He was a die hard until he broke through at Liverpool but he'd consider himself a Red now I think. Think him and Neville generally try to be as impartial as they can be, even if they don't always quite manage it. |

Very similar to Derby’s appeal yesterday.
Both were pens really as both kicked the attacking players foot onto the ball.

Gary Neville was the co commentator for the recent Manchester derby...go figure. As for Carragher he seems to call it as it is. I don't have a problem with him. There again I don't have a problem with scousers in general. |
