So who will offer them-self up for the Covid Jab? If I wasn't such a young fit handsome devil I'd be first in line. But considering my age + health I'll probably be one of the last. I'll definitely have it though. Will you? Gouranga.

I’ll probably be low down on the list but soon as it’s available to me I’m having it. I want my holidays, football, concert and pub days back as soon as possible.

Absolutely, although the idea was floated yesterday that leaders get it live on tv, which I think would be good to convince any doubters

I think they should test it on John Selwyn Gummer. Perhaps it could be his daughter to inject it into him?

It certainly shows that Tory ham fisted PR stunts are nothing new. Certainly more in folks consciousness than another “political” vaccine story a few years later that possibly had far more consequences - Leo’s MMR “did he or didn’t he” jab that gave succour to the people who thought that arsehole doctor knew something. Which maybe shows Labour’s fence sitting, like Tory incompetence, is a long standing feature of the party.

Not sure people wouldn't have it. You only need to read the coronavirus thread to see that there's a fair few headbangers who are worried it'll affect their fertility or 'control' them in some way. Which is ironic when you think that these strange opinions arise largely from dodgy internet sites, youtube, QAnon etc - if that's not controlling them and the way they think, I'm not sure what is!

Choose a vaccine Choose life Choose narcolepsy Choose being at the perpetual mercy of large pharmaceutical corporations Choose drinking in sterile pubs and staggering home to make love to an infertile missus wearing a fucking face mask Choose barcodes Choose certificates Choose life Choose a vaccine

As Ive had covid, I may as well have the jab as well. My life isn't that interesting that Bill Gates needs to track my every movement, the government can do that with my phone anyway

I'm just a bit cautious that once it's being rolled out on a large scale that people may be requested to prove they've had it in order to travel or attend large scale events.

I'm the same im not sure what if any effect the virus would have on me so im definitely in no rush for a jab but when it's my turn I suppose ill have it. Im eligible for the flu jab but I've had two in 18yrs one being today.

My life isn't that interesting that Bill Gates needs to track my every movement, the government can do that with my phone anyway I plan to have it, but if like you i had had the virus i'm not certain i'd bother, have they tested it on people who've had the virus ?... after all anyone who already had antibodies would have been no use for their original testing, and also, if you've already had the miley (i like to throw in a bit of cockernee rhyming slang ) and have antibodies do you actually need the jab anyway ? and, does the jab last longer than the antibodies from the disease ? - given they only made it a few months back, how can they they know that ? there's more questions than answers...

As I am nearly 80 and have had a kidney transplant a vaccine would be a no brainer (as long as it is not a live vaccine which my body would reject)

Definitely the vaccine. I'm in a higher risk group to get serious complications from the virus, and I also don't want to spread it to anyone else.
Unfortunately I may not be able to get the vaccine because I'm immunocompromised, so I have to rely on others to get it.

My life isn't that interesting that Bill Gates needs to track my every movement, the government can do that with my phone anyway Did they move you to the back of the queue because you've already had it? I haven't heard of any plans anywhere to do that, but it would make sense because you have the antibodies that will last a minimum of several months. My dad's getting it this week. I'm pretty amazed it's actually in the city so soon. How old is he, and is he in a care home? Is he a healthcare worker?
