Lucky to get a point? Are you on the wind up?! Completely dominated most of the match Bit controversial but we made way too many mistakes and were pretty toothless in front of goal. Ā We had more possession but that doesnāt mean we dominated the game because PNE allowed us to keep the ball - that was their game plan and it worked. Ā Our plan fizzled after 30 min. They hardly had a sniff, we battered them and had by far the better chances. Indeed they were lucky with a point

Spinks comparing Powell to RF10 was amusing last night. RF10 scored goals I'll remember when I'm a very old man, Powell I think not. And Spinks kept suggesting that Tom Ince was the best sub to bring on? In the way that both players could lift the whole team, I think it's a fair comparison. And Fuller is my favourite ever Stoke player. Nah, I'd have to disagree - no comparison. One could get the crowd on its feet in the blink of an eye, Powell doesn't. He's a good Championship player, but nothing more and probably more injury prone than RF10.

To be fair your wireless hadn't probably warmed up until the second half and then you had to send out for more Werther's Originals and Vick's Vapo Rub Surely Mick has a crystal set? Also, I see him as more of an Uncle Joes Mint Balls kinda guy That's a good point. I thought he's perhaps gone all modern and hi-tech on us and upgraded the tin bath to aluminium the fancy Dan he is

I said lift the team, not the crowd. Fuller was far more injury-prone throughout his career than Powell, who has a solid appearance record since his last two seasons at Wigan to now.

That commentary did my head in, and what was it with all the little 'in-jokes'!!! Horrible and nauseating. I don't care if they get the players names right, it was just irritating nonsense. Too full of themselves.
Bring back Nige any day!

Radio Stoke staff members have definitely been taking heed of the (rightly so) grumblings on here of the poor quality aftermatch coverage we've had for as long as I can remember compared to other teams and local radio footy aftermatch shows.
Lee Blakeman even said after the game that they were going to stay on air until they'd obtained MON's interview & also hopefully a player which was managed as Nick Powell gave quite an enlightening & humorous interview.
It's taken a while but fair play to Radio Stoke if they've picked up on the fans dissatisfaction & done something about it, long may it continue. The result v WBA & the high spirits of fans & presenters most definitely helped the feel good atmosphere for an aftermatch phone in, long may it continue!

Got back to the car expecting the programme to be over and it went on for another half hour. And a half hour full of the joys of being a Stoke City supporter!

Did have to laugh though at the earlier comment that Cardiff were second worst team we've seen at the Bet365 this season and the worst was Stoke.

The other one is Phil bowers. Massive vale fan. When he does the midweek sport shows after stoke lose then you can hear the glee in his voice. Loves talking about Stokeās faults whilst implying that Darrel Clarke is better than pep

Could have done well without that guy self pitying for ten minutes. I'd have rather listened to how the Vale got on than listening to him self loathing about how hard done by he is.
