One is jolly happy for the boy Rooney and his beautiful bride. Its nice to see that there are a few decent chaps left who are willing to get married before they start to mate and churn out the odd bastard or or two. Mind you if you come from the upper classes they are not called bastards but love children.

Do tell us about the unsavory things that Mr Gerrards wife had been up to, to provoke the chants that you chaps were coming out with? I dont get that mate? If your on about the chants of 'The babys not yours' to Steven Gerrard, it was just typical Liverpool fans claiming to be the victims again. Evertonians copied the chant from Liverpool fans, who used to sing it at David Beckham Was quite amusing the aftermath of that game, their fans punching and spitting at Phil Neville, and singing songs about Carsleys daughter was completely overlooked, by those naughty Evertonians. To be fair though, a lot of friends who are Liverpool fans were embarrassed by Benitez' comments. As for Rooney, Evertons are quite bitter towards him, not for leaving. Fair enough, he left for 'better things'. But he could have gave us a little more time surely?, he could have waited rather than handing in a transfer request on transfer deadline day, leaving us with just Marcus Bent to play upfront until January and leaving Everton in a poor position to negotiate. After leaving he then kisses his badge to the Everton crowd. Once after they scored, he ran right infront of the Everton crowd and went absolutely mental, when the rest of the Utd players just jogged back. But there you go, thats why we dont like the lad. But we are a better team without him, the money spent from his transfer brought us on more than he could have done.

But you must agree that you have built a far better team with money you gained through the selling of Rooney that you would with Rooney still in your side

Yeah definitely, as I said.
Although, we should have got a better deal. Which am sure we would have done if he didn't put a transfer request in on deadline day.
