Maybe it's time to acknowledge the job our coaching staff are doing especially with games coming so thick and fast.
I know we are not Brazil yet, but doing a great job with some of the younger players I feel.
This last year has been a massive transformation, and I feel there is also lots of room for improvement. Considering the dire situation when they arrived, seem to be doing a great job.

Rory’s set pieces have been excellent.
It’s clear that MON is not too proud to get his coaches fully involved, he’s given them credit on a number of occasions for things that have happened in the pitch. Grown up leadership.....

Things aren't perfect by a long chalk and there will be blips along the way, some self inflicted, but we're going in the right direction. They put up a graphic on the TV which showed that under O'Neils 41 games in charge we have a 1.50 points per game average which is pretty good considering where we were when he came.

It’s probably true that a few of the precious cherubs got a bit upset. Tough shit I say!

We’re a better side than they’re allowing them to be at the minute. Which is a frightening thought.

We had a descended into a seemingly bottomless pit when this group came along. Whatever it takes should be the motto.

The players weren’t the issue. Tactics and organisation were. MON has got the second nailed. The first I will argue is still iffy.

We’re a better side than they’re allowing them to be at the minute. Which is a frightening thought. We could certainly spend more time looking at attacking positioning, but the coaching of shape off the ball has been excellent, with most goals conceded coming through breaks in concentration and individual mistakes. Football isn’t all about what you do on the ball. I wasn’t overly excited about the game today, but the off the ball work was as good as we have done since Pulis. They had 2-3 good players who’ve been on form and we shut them down today after about 10 minutes.

The potential of this side. I don’t think we’ve played well bar 2 games so far. And we’ve still got 18 points is it? The goal potential in this side is phenomenal. We’ve got 2 fantastic young CBs. A midfielder that is sublime on the ball in deep areas. One that is further up the pitch. We’re a couple of full backs away from having a team that can play short, long, has enough pace and score loads of goals.

Good, we’ve been a haven for easy life prisoners in recent years that should’ve experienced the ejector seat👍

Talking of Rory and set pieces, this popped up today for me on YouTube. I was thinking about this the other day when I believe not one foul (penalty) was given against defending teams from long throw ins but us as the attacking team we gave away scores of fouls. I know it is a hypothetical but I would love to go back with VAR and see how many penalties would have been awarded in today's interpretations. I am guessing at least a few.

Bayern, are you serious? Wow. The club had assembled the biggest pile of mercenaries, money grabbers & generally vile characters that had ever been on our books. Some of them are still here. You’d still have them flouncing around in the first eleven. The coaching staff & management deserve massive credit for the cull that is still ongoing. They have done a fantastic job & given time & patience I’m confident they’ll finish the job off.
