Won't the clubs with decent money (i.e. Premier League) also be aware of the "bubble" and hold off from paying an inflated price? At the very least, if he continues "outperformimg" (improving?) through to the end of the season, they can always come back in the summer. Better to pay eg £20m for "The Real Deal" in July than £10m for a "Flash in the Pan" in January.
Always plenty of teams who can't value a striker properly & will pay inflated prices through desperation in January. Outperforming your conversion rate season after season rarely happens & certainly not to the degree that TC has shown to date. (His "clinical" finishing has outperformed Messi by 20% over the same period, with a few caveats). Marcus Rashford started on a hot finishing streak, but over his subsequent PL career, he's been a dead average finisher. Sustainable improvement will come from jacking up TC's current 0.24 xG/90, by getting him into good scoring positions, more frequently. That's the much more repeatable skill, not being clinical. Hopefully we know his true value & his (higher) achievable value if we sell. One thing I do like about Campbell is the number of assists he is currently getting. Assuming he continues to play the role of "wide striker" (or whatever MON wants to call it) does your analytical knowledge say anything about the prospects of Campbell's rate of assists being maintained even if his strike rate diminishes slightly? If I was a manager looking at Campbell as a potential addition to my squad, I think his current assist record would impress me a lot - especially when combined with his two footedness as a striker. Most of his assists seem to be pretty high quality - he isn't just the player providing the last pass to the scorer - it seems to me that he often does really lay it on a plate for them.

He's a quality all round striker. Quantified ball progression's (carries/passes) has replaced assists & expected assists as an indication of attacking value added to a side. Campbell is at the high end for non shot xG added and he doesn't turn the ball over as much as others. That's a good combo in a player so young and it's a decent sample size because every action is included, not just those that lead to a shot/header.

Just a quick note that TCs 5 assists so far this season puts him joint top of the league with Mbeumo of Brentford. His goals plus assists total of 8 has him 4th overall for direct goal contributions. It's great to have one of our lads high up in these lists for once

I am delighted with our front three of Powell Fletcher and Campbell. All 3 offer various qualities which we have been lacking since we dropped into the championship. Campbell's stats are interesting his 3 league goals have come from just 7 shots according to BBC stats. Contrast that with the current leading scorer Adam Armstrong who has 11 goals from a staggering 41 shots!! I have no idea how to interpret the stats other than suggesting Tyrese should shoot more!! having said that as others have pointed out his top the assists count. Promoted teams often have a striker hitting 20+ not sure any of our guys will hit 20 but expect Fletcher and Campbell to get close and double figures from Powell and Clucas will see us get close to 70 goals.

Campbell's comfortable on the ball and looks to attack. Now he's added that right foot to the mix - twice as lethal. We're going to struggle to keep him. Only thing left is to develop the hand of God like Miradonna, he'll have it sorted.

Campbell and Fletcher have both scored 4 goals with quarter of the season gone and both have only come on from the bench in many matches.
With three quarters of the season to go and picked more regularly, provided they avoid injury, both could be threatening to score 20 goals, something we have been crying out for for what seems an eternity.
Hopefully, you "wait ages for a bus", and then two come along!
