For a RWB yes, was hoping that would be Edwards. Maybe if he takes his loan seriously and learns and grows as a player. Looking at stats and stuff for young left backs in the lower league and the lad at Crewe, Harry Pickering name popped up. Scored a great goal yesterday Heard yeah is he someone we should be defo looking at and maybe taking a punt on him before others do?

That we're pretty good at defending normally but still a bit rubbish when we try to defend.
I'm not sure if this is because attack really is a form of defence (although I'd argue with it being the best); or like that thing where you can enter your PIN number fine until you think about it, and then can't remember for the life of you what it is.

One thing we haven't learnt from on this thread is: Although Stoke have gone 11 games this season with 1 defeat and 7 clean sheets, there are plenty of posters on Oatcake who are prepared to criticise the players, the manager (the system, team selection, substitutes, his track suit.....), and each other. (Guilty M'Lord.) Can't wait to see the comments next January when the big clubs come sniffing after Campbell, Soutter, Collins, and any of the other young players and if the club sells them. It will make the Coronavirus thread look like friendly banter.

I learnt to give up the £10 SCFC stream. Have paid every game and not seen a match in full yet. Missed the MacClean goal, and kept freezing. Nothing to do with my internet. I have had no trouble since they switched to iFollow. It might be your internet provider. However, it freezes all the time if I try to connect my iPad to the TV with an HDMI cable. That wasn’t the case with old stream, which had its own problems

They will be less like to jump ship if we’re in the top 6 and playing well.

That we’ve 2 young CB’s that we’ll be lucky to be able to hold onto long term Have a horrible feeling some mid table premier league teams will come calling for Souttar, Collins and Campbell in January or next summer.

I’m sure there’s something about Josh Tymon and playing at home. All his best performances have come away from home. Forest, Villa & Wolves.
We’re yet to see him have anything remotely resembling a good performance at home.
Nonetheless his future definitely lies either in midfield or on the wing.

Explains a lot.

Don’t be fooled.
Nick Powell is our best player - we need to add him to this attacking team.

Stop all this daft back passing and think forwards. I thought we were bad for this, however, having watched Wolves today not so sure. Superb little one twos up to about 25 yards from goal then go all the way back to past halfway. Its a current footballing disease I think! Bit like you have to play it out from the back, bloody Peps' way has brainwashed every manager into doing the same.

That one of the centre backs needs to have pace and act more as a sweeper if we are going to persist with a 3.
