Must be worth a 9 for that result today.
Thought Fletcher, Ty and Jimmy Mac were dangerous throughout.
Decent line up and formation.

You took the words out of my mouth, mind if I do a title change? x
I really, really like Mick's ability to take himself by the scruff of the neck as well as some players. After Barnsley, really good turnaround. Agreed about line-up and... formation is getting there but for me is more of a work in progress that's now capable of having good days. Brentford are a quality side no question. But a second successive home game where we ship 2 goals should be raising a few questions so it's:
8 from me

9 for set up and results
drops 1 to 8 for poor choice of sub in vokes, Gregory would have been better

Good solid 8 from me.
The forward line had good balance to it and the subs seemed sensible enough. Would have liked Gregory instead of Vokes though.
Some well worked goals too.

9. Powell injury may have helped him introduce players who mostly fit the system he wants to play. Plus players learning it?
Vokes was an odd choice. Great win though. Well done to players and staff on this one.

10. Think he got it absolutely spot on. Brown and Campbell chased and harried and hurt their attempts to play it out from the back and let us break at speed. Reintroducing McClean gave us a directness we'd been lacking. We played a surprisingly bold high line. Yes it was hairy at the back at times but they're a good side.
The caveat is that they're the perfect opponents for this system in that they'll always attack you and give you the opportunity to hit them on the break. The problems we have are in creating anything against teams who aren't inclined to do that.
But based on today I thought he did brilliantly.

A happy non chest thumping 8.
McClean return gave much more spirit and Tyrese is becoming quite the player. Right wing back & 3rd centre back, after Souttar & Collins, are the pressing problem areas.
But no doubt about it - we are shaping up.
And How Much is Mon missing his 12th man...? imagining a packed Bet365 for todays game, sigh. We'll be back to sing for you Mick

Decent starting 11 which benefited from McClean's energy. I wasn't impressed when I saw Vokes subbed on - I thought Gregory would have been a better choice. He may not score many but he works defences much harder than Vokes does.
Hopefully MON will learn from the positives and the negatives today - and make sure the players learn those lessons as well.
An 8 from me.
Edit: I wish MON could get Lindsay to start looking solid on the left of the back 3. I'm sure there is a decent player in there somewhere.

9, I still don't like the back 5 we're playing but we beat a decent side pretty comfortably (their 2nd goal was a gift). Gouranga.

Like the boldness of the front 3, good move to get McClean back
Thought Tymon for Campbell was a bit too negative
and Vokes took away our capacity to threaten.

Effectively a 3v1 win against a good side
Can't blame MoN for Brentford's second
No one , not even Josh tymon knows where Brentford's second came from .

8 - pre the game I was certain we would get mullered. Without the stupid backpass it would have been comfortable.

Campbell would have been taken off with an eye on Tuesday
