Why did you have respect for him in the first place? Because he is human. It didn't work out at Stoke but that doesn't mean I have to disrespect him but when he can't take a beating with dignity then I lose respect for him as a sportsman. He hasn't killed any body. There are so many other things going on, I have neither the time, energy or inclination to hate or be bitter. Hate and bitterness is much different to respect. Respecting arguably the worst manager in our history doesn't make sense.
