What a great asset he's proving to be. Bailed out our defence again today.
Really like his energy, and the way he moves off his line.

The one he raced out and took off the strikers feet was simply outstanding and got us the points.

Seems to have had the same impact as Lee Grant did when he came in.

Since he took over last season weβve conceded 0.4 goals a game. When Butland played last season we conceded 1.6 goals a game.
It says a lot about Jones that when he stumbled upon a quality signing he made him third choice.
Davies fully deserves a season as number one.

Can't fault him at all since he's come in. Looks competent and has come up trumps in a handful of big moments.
It'd be interesting to see what we'd do if Butland went. Go for a No.1 or No.2......
Gunn, for example, would want No.1 - but that'd be harsh on Davies.

Has to stay No1. Heβs barely put a finger wrong.
He threw himself at that one on one, was great to see.

He was great today but having to rely on him for the points was simply unacceptable, game management and leadership from senior pros was piss poor. The subs didnβt add much and overall it was a crap performance

Seems strange to think why it took him so long to get his opportunity. He was up against a man whose reputation was far better than was his current ability! ![:-S](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kdD1n42dnzYd3v59eUB_.gif)

He didnβt bail the defence out he bailed the midfield and forwards who persistently first 30 and last 10 constantly gave away possession

Thought we created enough chances, its the fact we didnt put the ball away and finish it off that was the problem. Thought Souttar did well especially 2nd half.
Ddint notice thompson had even come on after he did. Brown didnt do much, thought Tymon was alright to be honest

He is brilliant at coming out fast for 1 on 1's
If that is Butland he is stranded on the 6 yard line as the forward strokes it into the corner.
Love how positive he is with his keeping. Breeds confidence in the defence when you have a guy like that behind you

He just looks on the ball, switched on and up for it.
Possibly MOTM today - which is a bit sad considering we played against 10 men

Yet another clean sheet. I wonder at what point bayernoatcake will admit he was wrong? Bayern doesn't admit to such things!!! He normally makes up some random "facts", that actually have never happened, to justify his original arsegravy stance. Instead of just saying "yeah, I fucked up with that one". Daft c**t πππ

Time and again he did his job excellently despite long periods of inactivity.
Time and again I said to the Mrs he's a good GK.
Time and again the thought went through my head "Butland would have fouled up there."
